In 2019, I said yes to something I wasn't entirely sure I had the time, money or space for.
I had a two-year-old at home.
I was working almost full-time.
I'd just been promoted.
And part of me wondered whether wanting something more was selfish.
But I enrolled anyway.
I had no idea that one weekend a month would eventually change the entire direction of my life.
That decision led me to become a hypnotherapist, to work with women around confidence, boundaries, self-esteem and reconnecting with themselves.
It eventually led me back to MindWorks Therapy Training, this time as its Principal.
And it became part of the journey that shaped the therapeutic education work I now do with young people too.
None of that was visible to me in 2019.
I just knew there was something in me saying, go.
Sometimes taking a chance on yourself doesn't just give you a new qualification.
Sometimes it opens a door into a life you couldn't yet imagine.
And to think… it all started because I listened to someone else talk enthusiastically about a course. 🤍
You really never know where one yes might lead.
