There’s a weird idea in aesthetics that “natural” has to mean barely noticeable.

Absolutely not.

If you’re spending money on your lips, I want you to see the improvement.

What I don’t want is for everybody else to immediately see the filler.

There’s a big difference between:

“Your lips look amazing.”

and

“You’ve had your lips done.”

Better shape, definition, proportion and appropriate volume - while they still make complete sense on your face.

That’s my version of natural.

Your forehead lines are telling on you… and once they start hanging around at rest, they’re not getting any more subtle.

This is why I’m a big believer in treating movement before those lines become deeply etched into the skin.

The aim isn’t a shiny, completely frozen forehead (unless that’s your vibe 😘).

It’s softer movement, smoother skin and a result that still looks like you.

If your makeup is starting to settle into those lines before lunchtime… consider this your sign.

I know these posts can sometimes come across a bit like…

“You’re 30 now, time for this.”
“You’re 40, better add this in.”
“You’re 50, here’s your shopping list.”

Absolutely not.

Age can give me a rough idea of what changes I might expect to see, but it doesn’t tell me what you need.

I’m looking at your skin, your movement, your structure, what’s changed, what hasn’t, what you’ve had before and what actually bothers you.

That’s why two women the same age can walk into clinic and leave with completely different treatment plans.

And yes, sometimes my recommendation is to leave well alone for now.

I’d much rather tell you that than treat something just because I can.
