We still have some spaces to participate in our fundraising FIREWALK!!
We are raising vital funds for The Mytchett Community Association New Heating Fund. On the 20th November we are holding our hottest fudraiser yet - a charity Fire Walk!
Firewalking is the practice of walking barefoot on hot embers. It is designed to help transform fear and to inspire people to do things they didn't think possible, it can show that there is more to 'reality' than you think, that many limitations we experience in life are self-imposed. But this is so much more than just a Firewalk! By stepping onto the burning embers, you are directly helping us raise vital funds for our New Heating Appeal ensuring our community hub stays warm, safe, and active for all the clubs, groups, and families who rely on us.
Registration costs £15, and we ask you to commit to raising a mimimum of £100 for the charity.
If you don't want to participate yourself, are you able to share this post with family, friends work colleagues?
Can you display a poster in your place of work?
Does you employer have a charity giving scheme?
Can you come and cheer our brave Fire Walkers on on the night? Food and drinks will be available.
Are you a fire eater or in a band who would donate their time to provide some entertainment on the night?
