A little glimpse inside a MiSkin facial đŸ€

That glazed, glossy finish is Synergie Skin’s Tridation B, a replenishing, brightening and soothing mask that was one of several masks selected for this lovely client’s skin throughout her facial.

Masks are an important part of how MiSkin facials are tailored. Different masks are selected to target different skin needs, helping to calm sensitivity, replenish hydration, support healthy skin barrier function, balance congestion, or provide restorative and regenerating support.

And it’s not always just one. Masks can be layered, used selectively across different areas of the face, or applied one after another at different stages of the facial. They can also be incorporated alongside LED, depending on what the skin needs.

For this client, the overall focus was on calming sensitivity, restoring hydration and supporting healthy skin barrier function.

A slightly different one from me today. đŸ€

An unexpected trip to ED recently gave me a lot to think about - stress, capacity, our bodies and, inevitably, our skin.

I actually sat on this post for a while and wasn’t sure whether I wanted to share it. A friend encouraged me to, because you never really know who might need to hear it.

We see such small pieces of each other’s lives, especially through an algorithm. Someone can be happy, excited, building something they’re incredibly proud of and doing really well, while life is also asking a lot of them.

And I think even some of our hardest periods can leave us with something valuable - a little more perspective, a lot more gratitude, and lessons we probably wouldn’t have learnt otherwise.

This one is a little more personal than my usual posts, but it also touches on something I talk about with clients all the time.

Maybe this opens up a few conversations of its own. And just so nobody worries after reading all of that - I’m doing great, Billy is doing okay, the volume has turned down a little, and MiSkin is still very much my happy place. ✹
