Not sure which Mānuka Honey grade to choose? 🍯

UMF™ and MGO ratings indicate the concentration of key compounds found in genuine Mānuka Honey. Generally, the higher the rating, the greater the MGO potency (the main ingredient that gives this honey its special antibacterial power). But the highest grade isn’t necessarily the right choice for everyone.

Here’s a simple guide:

🍯 UMF™ 5+ to 10+
A great introduction to genuine Mānuka Honey and an accessible option for everyday enjoymentby the spoonful, with breakfast or as a natural sweetener.

🍯 UMF™ 15+ to 20+

Warming Winter Oats with Cinnamon, Apple & Mānuka Honey 🍎🍯
A cosy and nourishing breakfast for chilly winter mornings.

Serves 1

Ingredients:
½ cup rolled oats
1 cup milk or your preferred plant-based milk
1 small apple, peeled and chopped
½ teaspoon cinnamon
Pinch of salt
1–2 teaspoons Mānuka Honey UMF 5+ or higher
Optional: chopped walnuts, yoghurt or an extra sprinkle of cinnamon

Method:
Add the oats, milk, apple, cinnamon and salt to a small saucepan.
Cook gently for 5–7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the oats are creamy and the apple has softened.
Pour into a bowl and allow to cool slightly.
Drizzle with Mānuka Honey and add your favourite toppings.

Simple, comforting and naturally delicious. The perfect way to start a winter’s day.
