Celebrating giant George for making it to 40 surrounded by so many people who deeply love him and a truly thriving life

10 years ago he turned 30 - I met him at his party, we spent most of that weekend in his bedroom and we have been sharing a bed since - from wild love bubble to a baby now child between us - were still showing up to the love

Almost every part of our lives has changed in the last 10 years - and I can see so much of it has shifted in the direction of devotion, service, huge risks, big responsibility and a lot of courage

Together we do it - throughout the past years of full on ness I’ve often described it like we are hurtling naked clinging to each other through the never ending universe 😆

And honestly there is no one else I would like to be on this mad beautiful pain filled love fest of a roller coaster of life with

So here is to you dear George

I have watched you rise with such grace into becoming a true and real man

The words that unite around you by those who love you are

Ode to the silent scream - Let’s talk about Rage shall we 🔥last week there was one day when something happened that opened a channel of pure rage in me

What to do with that? - full week, choosing to not lose myself in the drama, I had 60 mins to work with this

I sprinted up the mountain till my lungs hurt - found this beautiful spot that’s always been a sanctuary for me

Fell to the floor and went for it

(Side note : Silent screaming is great for not disturbing the peace of nature or your voice box)

And after feeling that, the tears came , I regulated myself - zoomed out and saw the bigger picture , strolled down the mountain back to my house - back in flow, seeing more clearly , ready to get on with the rest of the day bing bang boom

And that’s just it, living your dream life, where your biz is going great and you have everything you wish for

Doesn’t make you immune from feeling the hard stuff - if anything...

Your capacity stretches for you to feel even more of the range...

The risks you get to take are larger

And when you put huge big visions into the world - you’re going to meet the edges that most people are too afraid to even get close to

And that’s just it

As you learn to ride the bigger waves of your lifeyou learn to hold yourself through more of it

I’m over the illusion that anything I attain in this life will bring me pure unwavering peace and easethat’s just not true

The house
The child
The relationship won’t give you that

So I keep choosing to feel it all. To lead from a place that’s real, not curated. Because the woman who can hold her own rage, can hold a movement.

And that’s the leadership nobody teaches you. The capacity to feel it fully and still rise, still build, still lead.
