The sobering truth is… no one is going to care more about your health than you do

We are exposed to more chemicals and environmental pollutants than ever before

You can’t avoid every exposure, but you can reduce your toxic burden and support your body’s natural detoxification systems.

Eat real food. Prioritize cruciferous vegetables for sulforaphane. Add chlorophyll-rich greens. Support your gut. Move your lymph. Sweat. Stay hydrated, use fulvic/humic minerals or a binder as part of a personalized plan… teach your kids to do the same

Small, consistent choices made every day can have a meaningful impact on your long-term health.

Your body is working for you every single day. Start working with it - bc we can’t rely on anyone but ourselves

Motherhood doesn’t come with a manual for the moments when one chapter ends and another begins. You spend years preparing them for what’s next, and then suddenly what’s next is here. High school, college, new beginnings, new independence—and a mom learning, in real time, how to hold on a little differently while still letting them grow ❤️

Monday was an extraordinary day in Washington for nutrition, chronic disease, transparency and medical freedom

I was at HHS as Sec Kennedy announced major steps toward transforming our food system.

For decades, companies have been able to self-determine whether food ingredients are “Generally Recognized as Safe” without full FDA transparency. That’s now changing - HHS is moving to require disclosure of those determinations and bring far more accountability to what ends up in our food supply.

For the first time ever, HHS and USDA have also advanced a proposed federal definition of ultra-processed food for final review. Historic!

This matters more than most people realize.

If we can’t define ultra-processed food, we can’t properly study it, regulate it, or build meaningful nutrition policy around it. And today, over 60% of the American diet falls into that category.

As a nutritionist working in metabolic health, I’ve spent years watching chronic disease rise while our food system became more industrialized and less transparent. Seeing these conversations move from theory to federal action was incredibly powerful.
And sharing this day with my MAHA friends and Vani Hari Vani Hari | Food Babe who ignited my passion for this mission well over a decade ago and has spent years relentlessly pushing for transparency and accountability in our food system, made it even more amazing 🩷

We celebrated at the Occidental, and then watched on Capitol Hill as. President Trump signed an Executive Order establishing new “Gold Standard” childhood vaccine recommendations - reducing the number recommended childhood vaccines, shifting some into shared clinical decision-making, and expanding parental choice. Huge!!

Food. Nutrition. Chronic disease. Medical transparency. Parental choice.

These are not small issues. They shape the health trajectory of an entire generation.

To be in Washington, watching years of advocacy, conversations and persistence begin turning into actual policy, was deeply exciting.

Change doesn’t happen overnight. But Monday felt like a big shift we needed! 💚

And we are just getting started🇺🇸

Thrilled about “The Real Food Show” that Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. has launched that will focus on how to cook healthy, inexpensive meals! The first episode aired yesterday and NewMax invited me to join their morning show this morning to discuss it! 🥬🍎🍋🥩

In each episode, Sec Kennedy will be joined by chefs from all over the country to not only teach viewers how to cook delicious, nutritious meals that don’t break the bank, but also educate about the real ingredients and nutrient content in the meals.

Thank you Sec Kennedy for launching another important component of the Eat Real Food initiative to Make America Healthy Again! 💚

In case you missed it - this admin is NOT doing enough to make us healthy. In fact, many of the promises made haven’t been kept.

It’s time to take matters into our own hands.

We can continue demanding cleaner food, safer products and greater accountability - but we also have to control what WE can control.

Here are a few things you can do NOW:

💧 Clean up your water. Clean water is one of the most important foundations of health - and your fridge filter doesn’t cut it. I distill and remineralize my water at home every day and use glass instead of plastic.

🥬 Wash & soak your produce - even organic. Pesticides aren’t going anywhere anytime soon. Thoroughly wash and soak fruits and vegetables to help reduce what you bring into your home and body.

🌱 Know where your food comes from - or grow it yourself. Support local farmers, shop farmers markets and learn how your food is raised and grown.

🧴 Clean up your everyday products. Choose better toilet paper, skincare, cleaning and laundry products. Small exposures repeated every single day add up.

🚫 Ditch synthetic fragrances. Get rid of plug-ins, air fresheners, dryer sheets, heavily fragranced candles and personal care products.

🍳 Get seed oils out of your kitchen. Read your labels. They’re hiding in salad dressings, sauces, snacks and packaged foods everywhere.

👕 Pay attention to what you wear. Reduce PFAS-treated clothing and plastic-based synthetic fabrics when possible. Choose natural fibers like organic cotton, linen, h**p and wool.

☀️ Spend more time in nature with your family and the people you love. Get outside. Get sunlight. Move your body. Put down the phone. Walk barefoot in the grass. Prioritize real human connection. Health is about more than what we eat - it’s also about how we LIVE.

We cannot sit around waiting for corporations, politicians or public health agencies to protect our health.

Start with what YOU can control.

Your water. Your food. Your home. Your products. Your clothing. Your environment. Your lifestyle.

Make one change at a time.

No one will ever care about your health as much as you do. Take your power back. 🌱
