Construction continues on the Al and Jane Nahmad Women’s Cancer Center, a space designed to bring specialized care for breast, gynecologic and skin cancers together in one dedicated center. At 34, breast cancer wasn’t something Simi Sapir expected. She had no known family history, but when she felt a lump in her breast that didn’t feel normal, she knew she needed to get it checked.
