If you’ve ever said “I only go 2 to 4 times a week, but that’s normal for me” — this is worth a read. 🚽

For many people, that pattern isn’t ideal.
Here are 4 things worth knowing about digestion 👇

1. Frequency.
Some experts suggest going at least once a day. If you’re eating 2–3 meals a day but only going every few days, digestion may be moving slower than it could.

2. Consistency.
Long, smooth stools tend to be the ideal (per the Bristol Stool Chart used in research). Hard, dry, or pellet-like often means things are moving through too slowly.

3. Feeling unfinished.
Leaving the bathroom still feeling full? Some experts call this incomplete evacuation — worth paying attention to.

4. Straining.
A bathroom trip should be relatively easy. Not a workout with holding your breath, gripping the seat, or working way too hard.
Here’s the piece some people miss — when digestion feels stuck, adding more fiber isn’t always the answer. Sometimes it can even make things feel worse.

Supporting the whole system matters: hydration, movement, sleep, stress, and gut function all work together. 💛

If you’re trying to eat well but not sure which oils are actually worth using — this is worth a save. 🌿

5 cooking oils many people find worth rethinking 👇

🚫 Canola oil — highly processed. Ask yourself when’s the last time you ate a canola plant. (Never — not really a food.)

🚫 Corn oil — same story. Deeply processed and nothing like the plant it came from.

🚫 “Vegetable” oil — not even one oil. Usually a blend of whatever’s cheapest that week.

🚫 Soybean oil — in almost every processed food on the shelf. Inflammatory for many people.

🚫 Anything hydrogenated — the word alone is worth avoiding.

The rule to remember: If you can’t picture yourself eating the plant it came from, you probably don’t want to cook with the oil.

Better options — but match them to the heat 🔥

Low heat / no heat (dressings, drizzling, finishing):
✅ Extra virgin olive oil
✅ Butter (real butter, not spreads)

Medium heat (sautéing, light pan cooking):
✅ Coconut oil
✅ Ghee
✅ Refined olive oil (light or “pure” olive oil, not extra virgin)

High heat (searing, roasting, frying):
✅ Avocado oil
✅ Ghee
✅ Tallow / beef fat

⚠️ A common mistake: Using extra virgin olive oil for high-heat cooking. It has a low smoke point (around 350°F) and can break down and become inflammatory when it gets too hot. Save it for drizzling and finishing.

Histamine has become the villain of the wellness world. 🎭

But most of what people believe about it isn’t quite accurate.

Here’s the truth 👇

Histamine isn’t inherently bad — your body actually makes it on purpose. It plays a role in your stomach, your brain, your sleep-wake cycle, and how your body sends signals to itself.

So if it’s not the enemy, why do people react to it?

Think of it like a seesaw. ⚖️

🔸 On one side: how much is coming in (food, environment, stress)

🔸 On the other: how well your body is processing it

When those sides are balanced, most people don’t notice a thing. When one outweighs the other for too long — that’s when some people start to notice.

Here’s the piece worth understanding — most advice fixates on one side. Cut this food. Cut that food. Live on a boring plate forever.

But some people find that supporting the other side matters just as much. Managing stress, supporting sleep, gentle daily habits, taking care of overall gut function.

Sometimes the fix isn’t cutting more. It’s supporting more. 💛

If low-histamine diets have made your life smaller instead of better — this might change how you think about the whole topic. 💛

Histamine isn’t the villain it’s been made out to be. Your body actually makes it on purpose. It’s not the enemy.

Think of it like a seesaw ⚖️

🔸 One side: how much is coming in (food, stress, environment)
🔸 Other side: how well your body is processing it

Most advice fixates on side 1 — cut this, avoid that, restrict more.

But some people find that side 2 matters just as much — supporting sleep, managing stress, taking care of gut function.

Sometimes the fix isn’t cutting more. It’s supporting more.

Ever leave the bathroom still feeling “unfinished”? 🚽

Or find yourself straining, holding your breath, gripping the seat?

Or telling yourself “going every few days is normal for me”?

For many people, those patterns aren’t ideal.

🔸 Some experts suggest going at least once a day
🔸 Long, smooth stools tend to be the ideal (per the Bristol Stool Chart)
🔸 Feeling “unfinished” is worth paying attention to
🔸 A bathroom trip should feel relatively easy

And a piece some people miss — when digestion feels stuck, adding more fiber isn’t always the answer.

Feeling a little off, even when you’re doing everything you’re supposed to? 💛

You’re not alone.

Cortisol is your body’s stress alarm. When life stays busy for a long time, it may stay switched on longer than it should.

Some people learn about traditional herbs like Mulungu, Shatavari, and Holy Basil — used for centuries as part of stress-related wellness traditions. BeSerene Daily is one option that brings them together in a single capsule. 🌿

Here’s a piece of gut science most people don’t know about 👇

Your metabolism doesn’t work like a calorie calculator. It works more like a factory — and the factory workers are cells in your gut called colonocytes.

These cells line the inside of your colon, and they have one main fuel source: a short-chain fatty acid called butyrate.

🔬 What is it? Butyrate is produced when your gut bacteria ferment certain fibers.
🔬 Why it matters? It provides up to 70% of the energy your colonocytes need to function normally.
🔬 When it’s low? Some people may naturally produce less butyrate, particularly after past antibiotic use, ongoing stress, or diets that are low in fermentable fiber.

Which is why some people choose to consider a butyrate supplement — as general nutritional support for their gut cells and normal digestion.

Not a weight-loss product. Not a metabolism booster. Just fuel for the cells doing the work. 🏭

Most gut advice focuses on what to stop eating.

Here’s an upstream idea worth understanding 👇

Your digestive enzymes. 🌿

When you eat, your body produces enzymes to help break down food so nutrients can be absorbed.

Some people may naturally produce fewer of them. And several things may reduce enzyme production over time:

🔸 Chewing quickly
🔸 Ongoing stress
🔸 Natural aging
🔸 Reduced stomach acid
🔸 Certain lifestyle factors

Most people encounter at least one at some point.

Which is why some people consider a digestive enzyme supplement at meals — simply as general nutritional support. 💛

⚠️HoloImmune sale ends tonight! LINK IN BIO⚠️

Most people quit HoloImmune because they think it isn’t working.

Here’s why they’re wrong 👇

You’re not supposed to feel it. It’s not coffee. It’s not an antihistamine.

Instead of asking “what did I feel today?” — run an absence audit 🕵️

Ask yourself:
🔸 Fewer congested mornings than before?
🔸 Skin flares smaller or less frequent?
🔸 Did the sniffles skip you?
🔸 Fewer food reactions?

“Nothing went wrong” isn’t a non-result. That’s the result. 🔑

You can p**p daily and still be constipated. 🚽

4 signs most people miss 👇

1️⃣ You’re not going every day
2️⃣ You leave feeling unfinished
3️⃣ You strain, push, or scroll for 15 minutes
4️⃣ Your stools look like pellets or Snickers bars

Constipation ≠ “not going.”
Constipation = anything but a smooth, easy, complete daily trip.
