Rehab doesn't stop at baseline because that version of you got hurt in the first place.
By the time rehab is done, you should be better than you were before injury. That's how you stop the pain from coming right back.
Often times there's weakness, instability, or mobility restrictions long before pain comes on. Identifying and addressing those deficits helps to solve the problem for the long term, not just calm down the pain temporarily.
