JABA Respite & Enrichment Centers (REC) in Charlottesville and Louisa provide a safe, caring, and active environment for loved ones, and a welcome respite for caregivers. JABA’s Respite & Enrichment Centers (REC) located in Charlottesville and Louisa County provide a full day of fun, caring staff, intergenerational activities and outings. While most of our members are older adults (including indiv

iduals with Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia), we welcome adults age 18+ with disabilities. Call the Center nearest to you directly to schedule a visit and discuss payment options:

Our JREC Hillsdale members have been busy creating artwork that is meaningful to each artist. We’re excited to share that some members have graciously allowed us to showcase their work in a pop‑up gallery located in the Hillsdale lobby entryway.

Art gives us a space to express ourselves freely and that spirit shines through in every piece. When you stop by, take a moment to notice the artists’ choices and reflect on how each piece makes you feel. You might just find a connection through shared emotion.
