Two weeks ago at Evolve Wellness Collective, we hosted a meaningful and necessary conversation surrounding infant mortality.
We intentionally created a safe space where Doulas, Certified Nurse Midwives, Nurse Practitioners, Community Health Workers, Stakeholders, Advocates, Mothers & people who care about the wellbeing of Black moms and babies, could come together for honest dialogue around one shared mission… improving outcomes and saving lives.
The conversation was so rich! One thing remains clear: we cannot create change while working in silos. It will take collaboration, education, advocacy, and a commitment to meeting Black mothers where they are with the resources, knowledge, and support they deserve. No one entity is too big or small to work with the other to SAVE OUR BABIES!
We must continue to use our voices, empower Black mothers, build trust within our communities, and work collectively to SAVE OUR BABIES!
At Evolve Wellness Collective, our mission goes beyond wellness. It is about creating spaces where meaningful conversations happen, communities unite, and real change begins.
Together, we can shift outcomes. Our babies are depending on us. 🖤
