Wound Fact Wednesday 🩹👷♀️
Some jobs come with more than a paycheck… they come with cuts, scrapes, burns, punctures, and wounds.
From construction sites and commercial kitchens to warehouses, healthcare settings, delivery routes, and landscaping, certain occupations can put your skin through a lot.
But here’s what matters: the size of the injury doesn’t always predict the size of the problem.
That “little cut” you planned to ignore can become a bigger concern—especially if you have diabetes, poor circulation, neuropathy, or another condition that can delay healing.
🚩 If a work-related wound is becoming more painful, red, swollen, warm, draining, or simply isn’t healing like it should, get it checked.
Because getting hurt may be part of the job.
Living with a non-healing wound shouldn’t be.
