Casey has specific experience treating the full spectrum of eating disorders. Casey Bonano RD, LD, CEDRD-S is a Texas Christian University graduate with a BS in Coordinated Dietetics. Casey has experience in various fields including residential, partial hospitalization, intensive out-patient eating disorder treatment, and private practice. Ultimately, Casey knew her passion was working with indiv

iduals in an outpatient setting and established her own private practice. Casey truly loves getting to know her patients and customizing her recommendations to fit an individual’s lifestyle. Nutrition counseling utilizes an empathetic, Intuitive Eating and non-dieting approach to achieve long-term behavioral change. All nutrition counseling is provided under the Health at Every Size (R) lens. Casey's goal is to provide her clients with the tools necessary to obtain healthy and balanced lifestyle and ultimately heal your relationship with food and body. Casey's experience at The Renfrew Center of Texas, Project Bliss, Nutrition Paradox and her own private practice has provided extensive experience working with clients that struggle with a variety of eating issues, including, but not limited to, anorexia, bulimia, binge eating, ARFID, and disordered eating. Casey's passion and expertise in the Eating Disorder field has led her to complete all requirements to receive the CEDRD (Certified Eating Disorder Registered Dietitian) title through iaedp (International Association of Eating Disorder Professionals). The CEDRD requirements include evaluation of education, training, knowledge and experience. Registered Dietitians with this certification are experienced nutrition therapists who have met rigorous educational and skill requirements, have accumulated a minimum number of hours of qualifying work experience, have made a commitment to stay abreast of current developments in the field and have made a commitment to stay abreast of current developments in the field. After obtaining her CEDRD, Casey continued her training through iaedp and received her supervisor status (CEDRD-S). The supervision status allows Casey to supervise other dietitians working towards their CEDRD credentials. Casey provides individual, group, and family nutrition counseling in the Dallas Fort Worth Metroplex. In addition Casey provides nutritional counseling via video conferencing when location/distance is a concern. Casey is an active member of the Dallas Fort Worth dietetic and eating disorder community. Casey is a member of the Academy of Nutrition & Dietetics, International Federation of Eating Disorder Dietitians (IFEDD), and the DFW chapter of the International Academy of Eating Disorder Professionals (iaedp).
