Harnessing Your Body's Natural Healing Power with PRP Therapy

Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) therapy is an innovative, minimally invasive treatment that uses your own blood plasma to initiate and accelerate tissue repair.

By concentrating the platelets—which are packed with bioactive proteins and growth factors - PRP provides a targeted boost to your body's natural healing processes.

Recent clinical evidence continues to strongly support its effectiveness, particularly for joint health and orthopedics.

A 2026 clinical guidance statement released by the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (AAPM&R) recommends PRP for patients with mild to moderate knee osteoarthritis, noting that earlier intervention can lead to better overall outcomes. Furthermore, comprehensive 2026 meta-analyses have consistently shown PRP to be a superior, safe alternative to conventional intra-articular treatments for reducing pain and improving joint function.

Because PRP utilizes your own natural biology, the risk of allergic reaction or rejection is virtually nonexistent.

If you are looking to manage joint pain, improve mobility, and potentially delay more invasive surgical procedures, PRP might be the right path forward.

Protecting Our Community: National Immunization Awareness Month

August is National Immunization Awareness Month (NIAM)! This annual observance highlights the profound importance of getting recommended vaccines throughout your entire life. It is a great time to check your records and ensure you are up to date.

Vaccinations play a crucial role in safeguarding public health for several reasons:

Personal Protection
They protect you from serious, preventable diseases that can cause long-term health complications.

Community Immunity
High vaccination rates help prevent community outbreaks, keeping our local Eugene/Springfield area safe.

Protecting the Vulnerable
By getting vaccinated, you ensure that those who are immunocompromised, elderly, or too young to receive vaccines remain shielded from illness.

With back-to-school season right around the corner, now is the perfect time to talk to your doctor or healthcare provider to ensure your family is caught up on routine vaccinations. A healthy community starts with proactive, preventive care!
