Some businesses never make it past year one.

Others make it a few years before the challenges become too much.

So when a company reaches five years serving its community, supporting staff, building trust, and continuing to grow… that means something.

Especially in healthcare.

Especially in rural healthcare.

We’ve been reflecting a lot lately on what it truly takes to keep showing up year after year — and how grateful we are for every caregiver, facility, and community that’s been part of the journey. ❤️

People often think traveling healthcare is just about filling shifts.
But sometimes, it’s about helping families stay together.
My mom lives in a very small rural town. When my stepdad needed nursing home care, the local facility was able to keep serving their community because traveling healthcare professionals stepped in to help support staffing needs.
Without that support, he likely would have needed to move to a facility over an hour away or more! That would have changed everything.
Instead, my mom could still visit him daily.
And stories like this are more common than people realize.
In the Midwest at least half of nursing home residents live in rural facilities.
At the same time, rural nursing homes are facing some of the toughest staffing shortages in healthcare, and rural facility closures continue to rise faster than urban ones.
Traveling healthcare professionals help bridge that gap.
They help rural facilities continue caring for residents locally — close to family, lifelong friends, churches, neighbors, and the places that still feel like home.
That impact goes far beyond a shift. ❤️
