Back in July, we had the opportunity to recognize our 2026 high school scholarship recipients at the Muddy Boots Picnic!

This year was especially meaningful as we awarded the very first scholarship from the Professional Women in Building Council scholarship fund, a milestone made possible by the generosity and commitment of the BIA's PWB council members.

We’re proud to invest in students who are taking their first steps toward careers in the building industry and skilled trades. Congratulations again to all of our 2026 scholarship recipients! 👏

Are you enrolled at Minnesota State Moorhead, Minnesota State Community and Technical College - M State, North Dakota State College of Science, or North Dakota State University in a building trades-related program? 🎓

Post-secondary scholarship applications will open shortly for students pursuing education in the building industry and skilled trades. Keep an eye on our page for application details, eligibility information and deadlines.

🏠🔨 Building Together at Habitat for Humanity FM's Women Build

On July 20, volunteers from the Building Industry Association of the Red River Valley and BIA Foundation of the Red River Valley partnered with Habitat for Humanity Fargo-Moorhead Area for its Women Build. The group worked alongside fellow volunteers to frame and sheath a new home, helping move the project one step closer to completion. Participating in Women Build reflects our dedication to strengthening the communities we serve and supporting projects that make a lasting local impact.

Cheers to our first 2026 BIA Golf Outing of the season filled with fun, prizes and great company!

👏Congrats to Chris Holland, whose ball landed closest to the hole in our Great Ball Drop!

And a special shoutout to Nick Olson! His ball traveled the longest from the hole, winning $100.

The future of the building industry is bright! 🌟 We're proud to recognize the outstanding students selected to receive BIA Foundation of the Red River Valley's 2026 High School Scholarships.
