Deeper Roots Wellness is excited to announce that the Priority Interest List is now open for our upcoming Child-Parent Psychotherapy (CPP) Learning Collaborative beginning November 2026.

• Twice-monthly CPP consultation for 18 months
• Senior leadership and supervisor implementation calls
• Ongoing implementation support

I’ve seen it. The way a mother can hold everything together while feeling like she’s coming undone.

I’ve sat beside women as they try to find words for what feels too big to name.
I’ve held space for tears that have waited a long time to be seen.

And I’ve lived it too.

Not just in early motherhood, but across seasons.
In the ongoing weight of being the one everyone leans on.
In the mental load, the invisible labor, the constant tending to everyone else while something inside you goes untended.
In the moments of snapping, shutting down, or questioning if you are failing at the very thing you care about most.

This week matters because maternal mental health does not live in one stage. It lives across the entire motherhood journey.

It is depression. Anxiety. Rage. OCD. Trauma.
It is the mother who looks like she is managing, but inside feels stretched beyond what is sustainable.
It is the unmet needs that settle into the body and the nervous system that never quite gets a chance to exhale.

Up to 1 in 5 women experience maternal mental health conditions, yet this conversation belongs to all of us.
Every mother has a mental and emotional landscape that needs tending, care, and support.

Because when mothers are well, others are well.

This is not just personal. It is collective. It is generational. It is the foundation of families, communities, and the world we are raising our children in.

This year’s theme, “A Decade of Voices,” reminds us that mothers deserve to be heard.

So we use our voices.

We name what is hard.
We tell the truth about what motherhood holds.
We allow space for the full experience.

Because when a mother is supported in her wholeness, everything around her shifts.

Her body softens.
Her relationships deepen.
Her children feel it.
Her community feels it.

If you are a mother reading this, you matter. Your voice matters.

1 in 5 mothers.

That’s how many will experience a perinatal mood or anxiety disorder (PMAD).

This isn’t rare.
This isn’t weakness.
This is real.

PMADs can look like:

Silent panic

Rage behind closed doors

Guilt that won’t let go

Sadness that feels endless

It’s not just “the baby blues.” It’s something deeper. And there is help.

At Deeper Roots Wellness, we specialize in walking with you through the darkness — into healing, into yourself, into hope.

💛 Healing is possible.
💛 You are worthy of care.

"Maternal mental health is not a side conversation. It is the foundation of thriving families, connected communities, and future generations. And it is not just a mother’s responsibility to hold—it belongs to all of us. When we tend to the wellbeing of mothers, we tend to the roots of everything. So let’s keep asking better questions. Let’s keep offering softer landings. Let’s build a culture where mothers are seen, supported, and sacred."
