Every day when I wake up I'm reminded over again of this life I'm living. Sometimes, it's not depressing but most days is a struggle. Not to sound like a downer but it's true. Thank God for my family that stands by me and helps me through! Without them and the friends I I don't know what I'd do

Some trips look different than they used to — and that’s okay. Since becoming paralyzed, there have been more challenges, more planning, and moments that aren’t always easy. Our cruise definitely came with obstacles, but we pushed through them together.

At the end of the day, family makes the hard things lighter. Grateful for the memories we made, the laughs we shared, and the reminder that joy is still found in every adventure — even when the journey looks a little different than before. ❤️🚢

Exercise used to be such a huge part of my life. Before my diving accident in 2023, I was always moving—yoga classes, running, lifting weights, and living fully independent. My body felt like home, like something I could rely on without thinking twice.

Life looks very different now.

I’m still learning my body in a completely new way. I don’t have functional movement yet, but I do have feeling everywhere—and that’s something I don’t take for granted. I’ve moved almost every part of my body and extremities several times, and every small movement feels like a milestone.

Right now, the electrical stimulation you see attached to me is what helps make those movements possible. It’s not easy, and it’s not where I ultimately want to be—but it’s part of my path.

I’ve come a long way. And I’m not done yet.

I’ll get there. I just have to keep on going! Keep on fighting!
