đŸŒ»Did you actually fail or are you carrying someone else’s disappointment as your identity?

đŸŒ»Think about that for a minute.

How many times have you called yourself a failure because your life didn’t turn out the way someone ELSE thought it should?

You didn’t stay in the marriage.

You didn’t keep the career.

You didn’t make enough money.

You didn’t parent exactly the way they would have.

You started over.

You changed your mind.

You walked away.

đŸŒ»You chose something they didn’t understand.

And suddenly their disappointment became evidence that you had somehow failed.

But disappointment and failure are not the same thing.

Someone can be disappointed in your choices simply because your choices no longer serve their expectations of you.

Sometimes people aren’t disappointed because you’re failing.

They’re disappointed because you’re changing.

Because you’re no longer playing the role they became comfortable watching you play.

Because you’re making decisions without asking for their approval.

Because the version of you they understood is disappearing.

And if you aren’t careful, you’ll carry their disappointment around for years and call it your identity.

“I couldn’t make it work.”

“I should have done better.”

“I wasted all those years.”

“Maybe they’re right about me.”

đŸŒ»No.

Maybe you learned.

Maybe you survived.

Maybe you outgrew something.

Maybe you finally recognized that continuing down the wrong road simply because you had already traveled it for years wasn’t success.

Maybe starting over wasn’t your failure.

Maybe starting over was the first decision you made that wasn’t based on somebody else’s definition of who you were supposed to be.

đŸŒ»So ask yourself again:

Did you actually fail?

Or are you carrying someone else’s disappointment as your identity?

đŸŒ»đŸŒ»Because you are allowed to put that s**t down.

What have you historically accepted as evidence of love even when their behavior contradicted it?

đŸŒ»People who have diabetes should read this:

Here is a holistic approach to Diabetes: Energy of Sweetness and Joy

Diabetes is often linked symbolically to the theme of “sweetness” in life.
‱ The body struggles to process sugar (sweetness), and on a spiritual level this may reflect difficulty allowing joy, pleasure, or self-love to be fully absorbed.
‱ Some teachings suggest that people with diabetes may be carrying deep wounds of feeling unloved or unsupported, making it hard to let life’s sweetness flow.

2. Control and Resistance

Blood sugar is all about balance and regulation.
‱ Spiritually, diabetes can reflect struggles with control—whether controlling others, life circumstances, or oneself.
‱ It can show up when someone has difficulty letting go, receiving, or trusting the flow of life.
‱ The pancreas energetically relates to worry and over-responsibility; imbalance here can symbolize taking on too much or not trusting support.

3. Ancestral and Emotional Inheritance

Some traditions see diabetes as tied to ancestral wounds, often around nourishment, scarcity, or emotional “starvation.”
‱ Families who endured poverty, loss, or lack of nurturing may pass down not only genetics but also energetic patterns around “not enough sweetness” in life.
‱ This can manifest as the soul carrying unresolved grief or pain from previous generations.

4. Self-Love and Nourishment

On a deeper soul level, diabetes can be a call to:
‱ Return to self-love and nourishment (not only food, but emotional and spiritual care).
‱ Release bitterness, resentment, or grief that blocks sweetness.
‱ Practice allowing joy, creativity, and gentleness to flow into daily life without guilt.

The word “ordinary” has always been interesting to me.

Ordinary means usual, normal, expected, or having no distinctive features.

For some people, that word feels comforting.

For others, it can feel incredibly uncomfortable.

Not because there is anything wrong with an ordinary life but because some people are wired to experience life through depth.

They don’t just want to have a conversation.

They want to understand what is underneath it.

đŸŒ»They don’t just want relationships.

đŸŒ»They want connection.

đŸŒ»They don’t just want to work.

đŸŒ»They want their work to mean something.

đŸŒ»They don’t just want to exist.

đŸ«¶đŸ»They want to experience being alive.

For a person like that, “ordinary” can feel strangely empty.

It’s not necessarily about wanting more money, more attention, more success, or a more exciting life.

Sometimes it’s simply a hunger for depth.

đŸŒ»Depth of thought.

đŸŒ»Depth of emotion.

đŸŒ»Depth of connection.

đŸŒ»Depth of purpose.

đŸŒ»Depth of experience.

And this is where we have to be careful about judging one another.

What feels peaceful to one person may feel stagnant to another.

What feels stable to one person may feel limiting to another.

What feels like “enough” to one person may leave another person wondering:

đŸŒ»Is this really all there is?

Neither person has to be wrong.

Maybe the discomfort with being ordinary isn’t always about believing you’re supposed to be better than everyone else.

Maybe sometimes it means you know you are supposed to go deeper within yourself.

There is a difference between needing to be extraordinary so the world notices you

and needing depth because your soul notices when it’s missing.

đŸŒ»Group Hypnotherapy Is Back

Starting Tuesday, August 18th at 5:00 PM

And your session doesn’t end when we leave the group.

Everyone who signs up will receive the recording of that week’s hypnotherapy session, so you can return to it and use it again whenever you feel called to.

Potential is not the same thing as participation.

That distinction can save you years of waiting.

We have a tendency to fall in love with what someone could be.

Their potential as a partner.

Their potential as a friend.

Their potential in business.

Their potential to heal, grow, lead, or change.

And sometimes their potential is absolutely real.

But potential only tells you what someone is capable of.

Participation tells you what they are choosing.

You cannot build a relationship on what someone could give you.

You cannot build a business with someone who could be incredible if they would just show up.

You cannot keep carrying someone’s place at the table because you can see the person they might eventually become.

There is a huge difference between:

“I know they could.”

and

“They are.”

Potential is possibility.

Participation is presence.

It is consistency.

It is effort.

It is communication.

It is accountability.

It is showing up when showing up actually costs something.

One of the hardest lessons is learning that you can see someone’s greatness clearly and still accept that they are not choosing to participate in it.

You don’t have to stop seeing their potential.

You just have to stop confusing it with what they are actually giving you.

Potential says, “I could.”
ïżœParticipation says, “I am.”

I do not take no-shows lightly, especially when we are discussing something as important as a potential partnership.

I am not looking for someone who only sees the small picture. I am looking for visionaries, big thinkers, and people who understand what it means to build something from the ground up.

Creative Healings was never meant to remain a small business.

I have worked hard over the years to put my name out there, build trust, establish what I do, and create the foundation for a much bigger vision. I know where Creative Healings is going, and I am very confident in my spirit team, my guides, and the direction I have been given for this company.

That also means I am becoming increasingly intentional about who I invite to build alongside me.

If you schedule a partnership discussion with me, please show up. Life happens, emergencies happen, and plans sometimes need to change. A simple message saying you cannot make it is completely understandable.

No communication at all is different.

I am not looking for perfection. I am looking for communication, integrity, vision, and follow-through.

The people I am bringing into Creative Healings need to be able to see beyond what exists today and recognize what we are building for tomorrow.

I am currently looking for a Psychologist and a Holistic Practitioner who aren’t simply looking for another place to practice.

I am looking for people who want a seat at the table and are ready to help build something bigger.

If that’s you, I would love to talk.

Creative Healings Is Looking for Two Collaborative Partners đŸŒ»

I am currently looking for two professionals who feel called to help build something different in the healing and mental-health space.

1. Licensed Psychologist

I am looking for a psychologist who believes there is room for a more expansive approach to mental and emotional wellness.

Someone who values the importance of psychology, ethics, evidence based care, and professional standards, while also understanding that healing can involve the whole person mind, body, soul, emotions, experiences, environment, and, when meaningful to the individual, spirituality.

2. Holistic Practitioner

I am also looking for an experienced holistic practitioner who brings their own knowledge, modality, and perspective to the table.

This could include areas such as somatic practices, integrative wellness, breathwork, Ayurveda, herbalism, acupuncture, energy-based practices, mind-body work, or another established holistic modality.

I am not simply looking to fill two positions.

I am looking for partners.

People who want to bring their expertise into a collaborative environment where different disciplines can sit at the same table without one having to diminish the other.

Creative Healings is being built around a larger vision: creating a bridge between mental health, holistic wellness, education, coaching, and spiritual care while respecting the professional scope and boundaries of each discipline.

I want people beside me who are willing to ask:

What could healing look like if we stopped separating every part of the human experience?

If you are a psychologist or holistic practitioner and this speaks to the kind of work you have wanted to be part of, I would love to have a conversation.

And if someone immediately came to mind while reading this, please share this with them.
