Today was all about meaningful connections, fresh air, and purpose 🌱💚 One of our residents joined us for a special outing to pick out herbs and vegetables for our community garden, which is something she’s done all her life 🌿🍅 The best part? The herbs and vegetables grown in our garden will be utilized by our talented chef in resident meals, bringing garden to table goodness right into our community dining experience. 🍽️✨

Hear ye, hear ye! 👑✨ Today, our community stepped into a royal fairytale for a truly unforgettable Royal Day! Residents were pampered like kings and queens with makeup sessions fit for royalty, while our gentlemen enjoyed fresh haircuts from Ace the Barber. 💄✂️The magic continued with horse-drawn carriage rides from Common Gentry Carriage Company that brought so much joy to our residents🐴💫 To end our enchanting day, residents gathered for a royal feast accompanied by the elegant sounds of a live violinist, creating the perfect ending to a majestic celebration. 🎻🍽️❤️👑 A huge thank you to everyone who made this day special.

It was such a refreshing day at our community! 🌞🍉🍍 Our Agua Fresca Cart made its way through Memory Care on the patio and in Assisted Living, serving up delicious fruity refreshments. Residents enjoyed having the fresh fruit infusions to add to their iced water. It was a sweet surprise! 💛

“Hi everyone! My name is Laura Frey and I am a Memory Care Coordinator here at StoryPoint. I mainly serve our Memory Care community, and I count myself lucky to do so! I have a 3 year old daughter and I am in school to become a nurse. Some of my favorite things to do at work are sing and dance with the residents, get to know the resident personally, and make sure everyone has their correct coffee order. Outside of work I love to cook and bake, explore nature with my daughter, listen to podcasts, and I recently took up teaching myself the saxophone. I love getting to spend my time with everyone here, it truly is a blessing! “

Today, we celebrated the incredible mothers and mother figures in our community with a beautiful Mother’s Day celebration 🌸💐 Our residents enjoyed an elegant tea party, a breathtaking piano performance, and a flower bar where everyone had the opportunity to create their own personalized bouquets to take home. It was a wonderful afternoon honoring the amazing women who have shared so much love, wisdom, and kindness throughout their lives. Thank you to everyone who helped make this celebration so special! 💕

Yesterday our community had a fiesta filled Cinco de Mayo celebration! We kicked things off with our leadership team serving up a tasty taco bar lunch 🌮🥬🍅 for residents and staff. The fun continued into the afternoon with a margarita mixer social full of fun and Jimmy Buffett. Thank you to everyone who helped make the day so special and full of celebration! 💃🌵
