We’re excited to introduce Community Wellness @ Caring Services — now offering FREE classes open to the entire community.
Join us for a 12-week series focused on real tools you can use to improve your day-to-day well-being.

📍 In-Person @ High Point Public Library
🗓 Tuesdays at 6:00 PM

💻 Online (Attend from home)
🗓 Wednesdays at 6:00 PM

✨ Each session focuses on practical topics like:
• Stress & burnout
• Sleep & mental health
• Anxiety & panic
• Trauma-informed healing
• Building resilience
• Communication skills

💬 These classes are completely free and open to everyone — you do NOT have to be a client of Caring Services.

Lydia House Resource Center Team Community Day 💜

On Saturday, from 11am to 2pm, Lydia's House (830 W. Green Drive, High Point) will provide hot meals, gently used and new clothing, and offering free health screenings. Food bags are first-come, first-served!

Join us for the SECOND ANNUAL IRC RESOURCE FAIR on
May 20 from 10 AM – 1 PM at the Interactive Resource Center!

This community-driven event—organized with guidance from the IRC Guest Advisory Committee—brings together 40+ local vendors and organizations offering resources related to:
• Housing support
• Mental & Physical health services
• Workforce development
• Community programs & more
Guests shared the importance of accessing services in a familiar, welcoming, low-barrier environment—and this event was created with those voices in mind.

✨ Food, prizes, music, and community connection will all be part of the day.

Want a fun way to support our organization? The Belk Charity Sale is back and GCCN is selling tickets! Tickets are sold for $5 each. 100% of the profits from the ticket sales are donated directly to us! Spread the word and reach out if you’d like to purchase tickets.

Belk provides local charities and non-profits with “tickets”, which includes a 25% off coupon and a $5 off coupon to use during Belk’s charity sale weekend. The dates for the sale are June 5-7, 2026.

Sun Bucks are back and we want to double yours!

If you have kids around in the summer months, you know they EAT. All day and night. This summer, NCDHHS and the USDA are helping qualifying families feed students through the SUN Bucks program. Families will receive a one time credit of $120 on a debit style card, per student, for the summer.

We are here to help a little more. If you receive Sun Bucks benefits this summer, bring the card to the Market Info Booth and we will match your stipend, dollar for dollar, for up to $50 weekly. Bring your card and swipe $50 and get a hundred to spend in market tokens. The tokens don't expire and you can get some fresh foods your kids will love.
