Forever grateful to our Delta Gammas!🩵⚓

This week, the lovely ladies from the Kansas City Delta Gamma Fraternity Chapter stopped by to present us with a generous $13,500 gift! We are SO grateful for their continuous support of our mission and all the work they do throughout the year!

Help us thank our Delta Gammas by showing some love in the comments!💕

Ophthalmologists, Neurologists, and Teachers of the Visually Impaired all look at the eye, but TVI's have a very different job. Here’s a simple explanation of the difference between the 3 jobs from one of our own TVI’s, Emily Wright!

Today is national nonprofit day, and since 1952 CCVI has been serving, supporting, and advocating for our visually impaired community here in Kansas City!

Starting as a small preschool and a church basement, nearly 75 years later, we are now regional leaders and vision care and serve more students and families than ever(and not just in KC either!)

You can support nonprofits like CCVI, by contributing in small or big ways mentioned in the video!

Have you ever heard of a Functional Vision Evaluation(FVE)?

An FVE is performed by a Teacher of the Visually Impaired and focuses on a child's USABLE vision. From there, strategies are made to find the best supports for the child to thrive in all areas of life.
