Oh, Kentucky Yoga Festival, you’ve always had my heart. This was my 8th one, a bittersweet weekend spent with the best of the best in festival families. 💚✨

Thank you to all that organize and manage, thank you to my camping mates, thank you to all that shared space with me in my classes, thank you to those who nourished me, shared their kids with me, delivered food to me, delivered postcards to me and laughed and cried with me. So much to always process; the grounding of the daytime practices, the openness of community, the vastness of the stars in the evening skies, the vulnerability of people lying in the grass under those canopies trusting source, the playfulness, the sweat, the sparkle paint, the glitter, the fire, and dancing until we couldn’t dance any more. 💃🏽

Thank you for such a deeply nourishing & magical weekend. Now, I am off to bed, again. For the forth time today. Homie can’t hang like she used to. 🥱😵‍💫😴😂

FREE YOGA CLASS at In Flight Training 🧘‍♀️
On May 2nd at 1 pm we’re opening the door to offering yoga on a regular basis in our space, and this free class is for those who are truly looking to grow in yoga and be part of a real community.

This class is for beginner and moderate level clients and is a great chance to get started, get comfortable, and connect with others who want to make yoga part of their routine.

First 8 spots booked will have mats and all needed class items provided.

The Soulrebelex Wellness Center Memorial Gardens are slowly awakening into Spring like the true resilient champions that they are. So much gratitude for everyone that contributed to these beautiful beds with flowers, bulbs, seeds, money and yes, even beloved ashes belonging to yours and my loved ones. 🕉️
They are so very loved and are now beginning to flourish, just like the love we have for all those we hold memory in these gardens for. 🙏🏼🌸🕊️💕

✨Shoveling On The Truth, Part 4. ✨

Ice doesn’t negotiate and the snow doesn’t care. This past week wasn’t about pretty snowfall or quiet stillness.
It was about breaking up that ice; that relentless, bone rattling kind of break up that fights back with every strike. The kind that travels up through the shovel, in through spine, up the low back, shoulders, wrists and pecs. Muscle pain. Back pain. Neck pain. The honest kind of feedback you can’t spiritually bypass. 😬

And still… I showed up.
This is where discipline (tapas) lives. Not in comfort. Not in ease. It’s when each swing becomes a practice. Each breath, intentional. Each pause, a moment of meditation in motion. 🤸🏽‍♀️

Yoga as medicine didn’t just happen on my mat these past few days. It happened in how I hinged instead of collapsed, how I stabilized instead of rushed, how I listened when my body said slow down and go in and warm up. 🔥

Meditation as medicine wasn’t only stillness or silence. It was presence….
it was staying with all the sensations, discomforts and exhaustion without turning away from awareness. 😓

Ice breaks when pressure is steady.
Truth does too. 👊🏼👁️

This practice, inside and out, continues to teach me again and again:
Strength isn’t force, healing isn’t avoidance and discipline isn’t punishment. 🧘🏻‍♀️

It’s devotion. 🙏🏼
To the body.
To the breath.
And to the path, no matter the temperature. ❄️🥶✨

My mantra: “Spring landscaping bodies are made breaking through the winter ice.” 💪🏼🧊 🪏❄️

Not even close to finished, but closer than I was yesterday.
And for that, I am grateful. ☺️
