Lake County Plastic Surgery In 2000, Dr. Tijunelis completed his plastic surgery residency at University of Wisconsin.

He then started his own plastic and reconstructive surgery practice in Libertyville, IL and Lake County Plastic Surgery was born. Dr. Aras Tijunelis trained as a general surgeon with emphasis in trauma in Detroit, Michigan. After completing five years of General Surgery residency, he continued his education at University of Wisconsin-Madison Plastic and Reconstructive Fellowship where he completed

microsurgical training; traveling abroad to Ecuador to perform reconstructive surgeries. He also studied in Newport Beach, CA and flew with UW Medflight as the on-board flight surgeon! Shortly after receiving his American Board of Plastic Surgery certification, Lake County Plastic Surgery was born. Located in Libertyville, IL, LCPS serves cosmetic and insurance patients in Lake county and surrounding suburbs. Dr. Tijunelis enjoys spending time and traveling with his wife, Kim and their two daughters, bicycling, and camping. He is fluent in English and Lithuanian, and conversant in German and Spanish.
