I can’t tell you the last time this window was open. 🪟 It’s been closed, locked, and covered with curtains to keep the Winter cold and Summer heat both out as much as possible. I realized today my apothecary hasn’t had a breath of fresh air, and she needed it.

Curtains pulled to the side, unlocked, and opened. I cleaned the sill and opened the screen to let loose accumulated dust, dirt, and debris. With incense lit, it was time to tidy and move some energy.

This space became overwhelming a few years ago. I don’t spend as much time in here as I have in the past and that saddens me. Today was ripe for digging in and reconnecting. Sitting at my altar for the first time in over a year felt like seeing an old friend. Yes, a little awkward at first but we fell right in to our comfort together quickly. After dusting off some crystals and a quick tarot pull, I laid back on the floor to soak it all in.

A gentle breeze, incense lightly dancing, the sound of birds chatting and trees swaying. A beautiful moment.

We don’t often think of flowers as shelter but this morning I watched a bunny take a nap under these Daisy blooms. That dark spot in the bottom right corner (first pic) is where they curled up, stalks and leaves creating a boundary with blooms gently swaying over their head. What could be more magical than a nap in a flower bed? 🌼
