You don’t just have a baby and then return to being the same woman you were before …

You are forever marked.

And even when your babies grow up, the mother in you still remembers their tiny hands, their head on your chest, the smell of their newborn head … Those nights no one saw. The prayers that no one heard.

So yes, sometimes a mother’s protectiveness can look a little intense from the outside.

Mama, you are supposed to care more than what makes sense to everyone else ;)

That’s God’s divine design. 🌟

Just wrapped class 8 of 8 and I have a little share …

Birth prep is not buying cute baby stuff and hoping for the best.

It’s learning how birth works so you don’t hand your authority over the second someone in scrubs sounds confident.

Know your body.
Know your options.
KNOW what YOU believe before labor.

You cannot hear your intuition clearly when fear, Google, and everyone else’s opinions are screaming louder than your own discernment.

Slow down.
Get quiet.
Pray.
Ask better questions.

I think sleep exposes more than we realize …

Sometimes the panic over “not enough sleep” is really fear asking for security, approval, or control.

And trust me, I get it!

Broken sleep is real … feeling tired is real … motherhood asks a lot of us.

But I refuse to wake up and let a sleep score or how many hours of sleep I think I got, tell me what kind of day I’m allowed to have.

Jesus said, “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.”

When Jesus says, “I will give you rest,” I don’t think He means, “I’ll make sure you get a nap.” I think He means, “Bring Me what is heavy, and I will sustain you in a way your circumstances cannot explain.” ✨
