The Pitt makes the ER feel like a place where everyone gets seen, fought for, saved.

Real data tells a different story. In an analysis of nearly 22,000 emergency department records, women were less likely to receive pain medication than men — even when they reported the exact same level of pain. Nurses were less likely to even record women’s pain scores. And women waited, on average, 30 minutes longer to be treated.

This is the gap we don’t see on screen. It’s also the gap we’re working to close. 💚

Every family tells a different story. Every journey to parenthood looks different.

Robert and Julian — a gay couple, with Julian, a trans man on HRT — spent months trying to conceive with tools that confused more than they helped. Mira gave them real hormone data and real clarity. After 6 months, they got pregnant 💚

Tash and Marthe — a same-sex couple using at-home insemination — needed precision and planning. With Mira tracking Tash’s cycle, they got pregnant on the second try 💚

Different stories. Different families. Same need: fertility tools that work, don’t judge, and meet you exactly where you are.

Your journey to parenthood — whatever it looks like — deserves clarity, accuracy, and support.

That’s what Mira is for.
Happy Pride Month. 💚

We tried to share basic, medically accurate health information. The algorithm had other plans. So enjoy this fully censored, completely unreadable guide to your own body.

The words we hid? They’re the same ones being flagged, blocked, and shadow-banned across social media every day — the kind UK MPs just debated in Parliament.

And the data is bleak: 95% of women’s health creators have been censored in the past year. More than half now self-censor just to stay visible. A breast cancer campaign had to use a *male* ni**le to avoid being flagged. An ad with the words «menstrual cycle» got hit with an 18+ warning by Meta.

Meanwhile? Only 2% of UK research funding goes to female reproductive health to begin with. So we’re under-researched AND silenced.

Period. Va**na. Endometriosis. Menopause. These are biology. Not bad words.

Send this to a friend who’s just as done with this as you are. 🌸

The UK House of Commons just released a list of women’s health terms being shadow-banned on social media.

Period. Va**na. Endometriosis. PCOS. Menopause. Or**sm.

But erectile dysfunction ads? Those run freely.

This is what inequality looks like. Women’s bodies treated like they’re shameful. Male bodies treated like they’re normal.

We talked about this on Mirror Talks with Karina. The silence doesn’t protect anyone. It just keeps women from understanding themselves.

You deserve to talk about your body without whispering.

Mira is now licensed by Health Canada as a Class II Medical Device 😎

What does that actually mean?
Health Canada reviewed our product for safety, quality, and how it works. Our manufacturing meets their standards.

In other words: Mira isn’t just a wellness product. It’s a regulated medical device you can trust.

Why that matters:
Not all fertility trackers are regulated. A lot of them operate as “wellness products” with zero third-party oversight.

That’s fine if you’re casually tracking. But when you’re making decisions about your fertility, perimenopause, or hormone health? You deserve more than marketing.

Regulation isn’t just a badge. It’s accountability. It means an independent authority actually looked at what we built — not just us saying it works.

Mira is now FDA-registered in the US and Health Canada-licensed in Canada.

If you’re choosing a fertility tracker, choose one that actually meets medical device standards 💚

For years, a lot of women are told PMS is “just mood swings.”

So they blame themselves instead.

Too sensitive.
Too emotional.
Too lazy.
Too reactive.

But symptoms that show up at the same point in your cycle every month aren’t personality traits.

They’re patterns.

Hormonal shifts before your period can affect mood, motivation, emotional regulation, anxiety, and stress response — which is why PMS can feel so mentally and emotionally intense.

Tracking your cycle changes the conversation.

You stop thinking:
“Why am I like this?”

And start thinking:
“Okay — this is the part of my cycle where I need more support.”

May is Mental Health Awareness Month, and PMS deserves to be part of that conversation.

This is what happens when we don’t teach comprehensive hormone education in schools.

When periods are reduced to a hygiene problem instead of a vital sign. When girls learn to hide their cycles instead of understanding them.

The next generation deserves better 💚

We’re petitioning to add hormone education to US school curriculum — so girls grow up knowing their periods are a sign of health, not something to be ashamed of.

Sign the petition. Link in bio.
