Effective May 7, 2026, Healthcare.gov no longer allows agents to add or update NPNs on applications—impacting agent compensation and control over enrollments. In addition, AOR changes are restricted, and stricter verification requirements are now in place for Marketplace calls. Agents are encouraged to transition to HealthSherpa and stay informed as additional changes are expected ahead of OEP.
