This Sunday was such a special and emotional day for us. For the first time since Greg’s liver transplant, we were finally able to go back to A church together (Elkton Church of God) After everything God has brought us through, sitting in church again was something we will never take for granted.

(Remi was with his Nana at another church)

We also want to give a very special THANK YOU to my cousin Patty. Patty has been there for us and has helped us in so many ways throughout this journey. We are truly grateful for her love, support, prayers, and everything she has done for our family. We love and appreciate you more than words can say, Patty.

We are still asking everyone to please keep Greg in your prayers. We are especially praying that his kidneys will continue to improve and that his blood counts—his hemoglobin, red blood cells, white blood cells, and platelets—will get stronger. We know God is still working, and we are trusting Him one day at a time.

“I will restore health unto thee, and I will heal thee of thy wounds, saith the LORD.” — Jeremiah 30:17

Thank you to everyone who has prayed, checked on us, encouraged us, helped us, and stood beside us through this journey. We feel every prayer. Make it a great day.

August 8th We celebrate 40 years of marriage—40 years of love, memories, ups and downs, and walking through life together. But I know without a doubt that we would not be celebrating this anniversary, if it weren’t for Jesus carrying us through Greg’s liver disease and everything we went through.

There were times when we didn’t know what the future would hold, but God never left our side. He heard our prayers, gave us strength when we had none left, and in His perfect timing, He sent us a living liver donor who made an incredible sacrifice to give Greg another chance at life.

To our living liver donor, thank you will never be enough. You gave a part of yourself so that Greg could have more time with his family and so that we could have the blessing of celebrating this 40th anniversary together. We will forever be grateful for your selfless sacrifice. ❤️

We want to give ALL the praise, honor, and glory to God. 🙏

Thank you to everyone who prayed for us! God does hear our prayers.

Hope everyone enjoyed Father’s Day weekend! This Father’s Day is especially meaningful after the gift of A liver transplant and the journey we have traveled together. We are so thankful for every moment, every prayer, and every blessing. Most of all, we give thanks to our Heavenly Father, whose love, grace, and mercy have carried us through the hardest days and brought us to this season of hope and healing. Happy Father’s Day to all the dads, and all glory to God for His many blessings. “This weekend we celebrated our daughter’s birthday, and this year it felt extra special. After walking through so much sickness and the journey of a liver transplant, we’ve learned not to take a single day for granted. Every birthday is a gift, every candle is a reminder of God’s grace, and every moment with family is precious. Our hearts are filled with gratitude as we celebrate another year of life, love, and blessings. Happy Birthday to our beautiful daughter!” Together forever.

Today is Greg’s birthday!!!! 👍 we are celebrating more than a birthday — it’s a miracle we do not take for granted. All of our friends and family have watched his journey as we were facing one of the hardest times of our lives as my husband fought cirrhosis of the liver. There were moments we were terrified we might lose him. But through God’s mercy, grace, and the incredible sacrifice of an anonymous living liver donor, he was given another chance at life.

Today we celebrate not only his birthday, but the gift of more birthdays to come.

To the selfless donor who chose to give part of themselves so someone else could live — there are no words big enough for our gratitude. Your sacrifice changed our lives forever. You gave a husband, family member, and loved one more time, more memories, and more hope.

And above all, we give God all the praise for carrying us through every fear, every prayer, every hospital visit, and every difficult day. His hand was over this journey from beginning to end.

We celebrated his birthday on Saturday with some of the family at the Taste of Thai who treated him with dinner.

Happy Birthday to my husband — your life is a testimony of strength, faith, second chances, and love. We are beyond thankful you are still here with us today. ❤️
