Today is Greg’s birthday!!!! 👍 we are celebrating more than a birthday — it’s a miracle we do not take for granted. All of our friends and family have watched his journey as we were facing one of the hardest times of our lives as my husband fought cirrhosis of the liver. There were moments we were terrified we might lose him. But through God’s mercy, grace, and the incredible sacrifice of an anonymous living liver donor, he was given another chance at life.
Today we celebrate not only his birthday, but the gift of more birthdays to come.
To the selfless donor who chose to give part of themselves so someone else could live — there are no words big enough for our gratitude. Your sacrifice changed our lives forever. You gave a husband, family member, and loved one more time, more memories, and more hope.
And above all, we give God all the praise for carrying us through every fear, every prayer, every hospital visit, and every difficult day. His hand was over this journey from beginning to end.
We celebrated his birthday on Saturday with some of the family at the Taste of Thai who treated him with dinner.
Happy Birthday to my husband — your life is a testimony of strength, faith, second chances, and love. We are beyond thankful you are still here with us today. ❤️
