Rock Steady Boxing is a specialized, non-contact fitness program designed to help people with Parkinson's disease improve their physical mobility, strength, and overall quality of life. Founded in 2006, the worldwide nonprofit program uses boxing-inspired drills to combat degenerative motor symptoms.
Our program Involves non-contact boxing: Striking heavy bags, speed bags, and focus mitts using jabs, hooks, and uppercuts.
Agility and balance drills: Shuffling, jumping, and changing directions to prevent falls.
Strength and endurance: Calisthenics, core work, and flexibility exercises.
Vocal and cognitive exercises: Forcing loud counts and multitasking to build respiratory strength and mental sharpness
We are your coaches, Janice, Lee, Bernie, Renea, Stacey, and Faith here to help you fight back against Parkinson’s Disease !
