Parkinson’s Foundation Florida makes life better for people with Parkinson’s disease by improving care and advancing research towards a cure.

Our mission is “to create a better quality of life for all those in our communities affected by Parkinson’s disease.” This mission is carried out through support groups for caregivers and patients, wellness classes, educational seminars and social activities. One week ago, we proudly hosted our Florida Chapter Parkinson’s Symposium in Wildwood, FL, bringing together people with Parkinson’s, their loved ones, and the broader Central Florida community for a day of education, support, and connection. 🩵

We’re grateful to our expert speakers for sharing their knowledge, insights, and guidance: Dr. Octavio Carranza-Renteria from University of Florida Dr. Keaton Piper from AdventHealth Tampa and Deborah Swerdlow from Parkinson's Foundation.
