Beauty Was Never Meant to Look Like a Filter!!
Somewhere along the way, we started believing that beauty had a certain look.
Smooth skin. Perfect features. No wrinkles. No texture. No signs that a life has actually been lived.
And social media hasn’t made it any easier.
Everywhere we look, we’re shown perfectly lit faces, filtered skin, sculpted features, and women who seem to have discovered the secret to never aging. We scroll through these images without always realizing how much they can influence the way we see ourselves.
But here’s the truth: Have you stop long enough to notice that what we’re comparing ourselves to isn’t real!!!
Real skin has texture.
Real faces have lines.
Our features shift.
And yes, we age.
That doesn’t mean we become less beautiful.
It means beauty changes.
After 50, makeup shouldn’t be about trying to recreate the face we had at 25. It should be about understanding the face we have today—and learning how to bring out what’s beautiful about it.
Sometimes that means different formulas of makeup or less, not more and not to give up on all of it.
Softer colors, Hydrating products, A little glow in the right places.
Because the goal isn’t to look younger. It’s to be the best version of YOU.
To look like yourself—healthy, vibrant, confident, and beautifully you.
Beauty doesn’t disappear as we age.
It becomes more personal.
