Alessandro Pennella () has spent decades building American traditional and neo-traditional work out of Lodi, Italy, just outside Milan.

Roses, anchors, skulls, wildlife, classic motifs rendered with bold linework and rich color, shading built to hold up for decades.
He also specializes in something most artists won't touch: cover-ups over scars and trauma-affected skin, and tattooing directly over freckles and birthmarks.

He founded Tattoo Island & The Family Business in Lodi and books through his studio site.

The Petunia Twins (.twins) — identical twins Aline () and Alena () — grew up in Stuttgart, Germany, before landing in Los Angeles, where they now run their own studio, Petunia Twins Ink. Both work in watercolor and abstract acrylic styles, skipping the heavy black outlines most tattoos rely on. Aline leans toward fluid, freehand florals with soft gradient blending. Alena works more in expressive color splashes and brushstroke effects. The result, from either twin, look stellar.
