Since his stroke, Joe has had a goal of doing floor transfers to allow him to return to yoga. Joe is a very talented yoga instructor and it meant the world to him to get back on the mat! We are so proud of you, Joe! 💪

Happy Monday Everyone!

This past Saturday, one of our physical therapists led the movement demonstration at Moving Day Milwaukee!☀️🌻💛 It was so wonderful to move as a community and support this amazing foundation. This year’s Moving Day has raised almost $100,000 which will go towards improving care and advancing PD research. Go team!

Happy Technology Thursday Neuro World! 🧠

Last week we welcomed into the NRC for an Ipsihand screening day. We worked closely with Emily and Noah to identify potential candidates for use of this device. Ipsihand is a brain computer-interface device designed to target the brain through motor imagery and mental practice of movements. The device utilizes a tablet to walk you through motor movements all while an EEG monitoring headset captures your motor cortex’s response. Over time the device can be utilized within the home of users to supplement skilled therapy and promote neuroplastic changes leading to improved function in the involved upper extremity following a stroke.
