Small changes can make conversations easier. 💛

You don’t have to wait for a hearing appointment to make communication more comfortable.

Try four simple steps:

* Face the person.
* Reduce background noise.
* Speak clearly without shouting.
* Give them time to respond.

Most importantly, ask what helps them hear you best.

If hearing remains difficult, encourage a hearing evaluation. Hearing aids, listening tools, and professional support may help, depending on the person’s needs.

Families and care teams: What is one change you can make at your next conversation?

When a loved one starts having memory problems, it can be frightening. But one concerning moment does not tell the whole story.

Some health conditions and everyday factors can affect memory and thinking. A healthcare professional can help assess what may be happening and whether any contributing factors can be treated.

Instead of jumping to conclusions, start with a conversation and seek the right evaluation.

Have you ever wondered what steps to take when a family member experiences memory changes? Share your questions below.

Hearing care belongs in brain care. 🧠

A conversation is more than sound. It is how we learn, share, and stay close to people we love.

When hearing becomes difficult, following that conversation can become difficult too. Hearing loss is linked with a greater risk of cognitive decline. That does not mean everyone with hearing loss will develop dementia.

This October, during National Audiology Awareness Month, let's bring hearing into the brain-health conversation.

If hearing is getting harder, ask about a hearing evaluation.

Audiologists and hearing-care teams: What helps people take that first step?

Give your brain a fighting chance.

Dementia is already affecting families, and the challenges are real.

But fear is not the plan.

Hope does not mean denying the disease. It means asking:

What can still be checked?
What can still be treated?
What can still be protected?
What can still be supported?
What can still be enjoyed?

Those questions can give a family somewhere to begin.

One clear next step is more useful than one frightening headline.

Aging is not the same as dementia.

As we get older, some things may change.

A name might take longer to come to mind.
We might occasionally forget something.
We might need a little more time to remember.

But one frightening moment does not tell the whole story.

If you’re concerned about your memory—or you’re noticing changes in someone you love—the next step doesn’t have to be fear.

It can be a question.
A conversation.
Or, when appropriate, a professional evaluation.

The goal is not to create fear. It’s to understand what’s happening and take one useful step at a time.

Give your brain a fighting chance. 🧠

At Interact Well Care, we believe education and compassion are important parts of the conversation around brain and cognitive health.

Together, we can support people living with Alzheimer’s and dementia and the families who care for them. 💜

We often think changes in memory, energy, or physical activity are simply part of getting older.

But aging isn’t the only part of the story. 🧠

Our everyday habits including sleep, physical activity, and overall health are important pieces of the brain-health conversation.

We can’t stop the aging process, but we can be more intentional about how we care for our brains throughout life.

Start with one simple question:

What is one healthy habit you can improve today?

Maybe it’s not just aging. Maybe it’s your habits. 🧠

We often say:

“I’m getting older, that’s why I’m not exercising.”

But what if we looked at it differently?

In this clip, Dr. Hamid Reza Sagha explains why we shouldn’t automatically blame age for changes in our health and memory.

Sleep, physical activity, and other daily habits are part of the bigger picture when it comes to brain health.

We can’t stop aging—but we can be more intentional about how we care for our brain and body along the way.

Your brain health deserves attention at every age.

What happens to your brain while you sleep? 🧠

Your brain is protected by the skull, surrounded by layers and cushioned by fluid.

But according to Dr. Hamid Reza Sagha, there is another fascinating part of the story: during sleep, processes involving the fluid around the brain help clear waste.

That may be one reason we can wake up feeling refreshed after a good night’s sleep.

Sleep isn’t just rest for your body. It’s also an important part of taking care of your brain.

Every 3 seconds globally, someone is diagnosed with dementia.

Yet dementia is still a conversation many families don’t have until memory problems become impossible to ignore.

In this speaking engagement, Dr. Hamid Reza Sagha explains why dementia deserves greater attention—and why education about brain and cognitive health matters.

Awareness is the first step.
