Finally after weeks and weeks of being delayed Karlie is finally starting Blina. 🧡🎗️
She’s had low platelets which has been delaying the treatment but today Drs said we’re rolling with it. Did I mention I hate insurance companies 😤

Well a little update: Karlie got admitted Saturday 6/27 and she’s still currently inpatient. She had cellulitis on her left eye and it’s currently gone. But a blood culture from 6/27 started having growth on Wednesday and it is bacterial called Rothia. We still don’t know if it was contaminated or not because none of her other cultures grew anything thing. She remains having fevers on and off but that might just be from her being neutropenic. Asking for all the prayers and good vibes sent her way…. So she can get home soon! She’s had enough of the hospital setting. 🧡🎗️

Karlie experienced a good couple of weeks, going to the movies with her sisters and swimming with her cousins. Due to low counts, she was unable to receive chemo last Friday, but made up a LP today and received her treatment as planned. She also has chemo at home this weekend. Praying for a good week for her 🧡

So glad Karlie was able to make her sisters graduation ❤️ and was feeling better!

Karlie got discharged Tuesday after being fever free and negative cultures. Then went in for a LP and back home today so we can make big sisters graduation tomorrow 🥳

Not how we expected the weekend to start…..got to clinic, LP got rescheduled due to her counts being to low, her neutrophils down as well. She has a fever too so hospital bound we are for the weekend. She did get her chemo, platelets and now getting some blood. Praying all is good and cultures come back negative and she can get back home Monday. 🧡🎗️

This morning started really rocky at clinic today, she scared the death outta me, she was weak so I rolled her up to clinic in a wheel chair, where she ended up passing out and was unresponsive. She quickly woke back up, Dr canceled her spinal tap so she got to eat and received blood transfusions due to her hemoglobin belong low and got her scheduled chemo and we’re back home.
Please keep my sweet girl in your prayers 🙏🧡
