😭 I’M NOT CRYING… YOU’RE CRYING. 💜

Look at our THREE SENIORS. 🥹🎓

Coach Khloe. Coach Kori. Coach Emma.

We are so incredibly proud of these girls — not only for everything they have already accomplished, but for everything we know is still ahead of them.

The heart and soul they pour into our program, the love they give our athletes, and the time they spend showing up, encouraging, teaching, celebrating, and believing in them means more than they probably even realize.

Watching them grow into the young women and coaches they are today has been such a privilege, and now somehow we’re already saying…

Apparently we were a little too busy cheering yesterday to remember to take pictures.

And by “we,” we mean Coach Kerrie. 😏

So thanks, Coach Kerrie. Since you didn’t capture any of the moments for us, today everyone gets a selfie of Coach Hannah in her living room with the Flutter Cup… which, yes, is apparently now living on the couch. 😂🏆

WEEK 2 WAS A SUCCESS! 📣💜

All three teams learned the opening of their Season 3 routines yesterday!

Counts were called. Motions were learned. Music was played approximately 472 times. And little by little, what started as choreography on paper is starting to look like FLURRIES routines.

There is something so exciting about watching it all come together one 8-count at a time. 💜❄️

💜❄️ It’s Emma’s turn to shine in our Faces of Flurries spotlight! ❄️💜

Emma is heading into her second year of cheerleading with Flurries, and she always gives 100% to everything she does!

She’s also a member of our Flurries Dance Team and can be found out on the field playing baseball, football, and soccer too. Whether she’s cheering, dancing, or playing a sport, Emma shows up ready to work hard, have fun, and give it her all.

Emma has the brightest smile and such a kind heart. She is a wonderful friend and teammate, and we love watching her confidence and personality shine more and more each season.

We’re so proud of Emma and can’t wait to watch her continue to grow throughout Season 3! 💜✨

💜❄️ TONIGHT WAS AN EXTRA SPECIAL ONE FOR SOME OF OUR FLURRIES! 🏈🧡

Tonight, Flutter Unified Athletics celebrated the Flutter Cup and the end of its very first flag football season — and we got to celebrate some familiar faces in a completely different uniform. 🥹

There is something so special about watching our cheerleaders step off the mat, onto the field and shine in another sport.

They ran, pulled flags, scored touchdowns, cheered on their teammates and had an amazing football season — and we could not be more proud of them.

We love getting to celebrate our athletes in all the different spaces where they grow, build confidence, make friends and discover just how much they are capable of.

Tonight they weren’t our cheerleaders on the mat… they were football players on the field. And we loved every second of cheering them on. 💜🧡

❄️ WE’RE NOT SURE WHO WAS HAPPIER TO BE BACK ON THE MAT THIS WEEK… OUR ATHLETES OR OUR COACHES & VOLUNTEERS. 💜📣

There’s just something about that first practice back.

From the second our athletes started walking through the doors, you could feel it. The excitement was back, the gym felt full again, and our coaches and volunteers were every bit as happy to see those faces as the athletes were to see them. ❄️

Our athletes bring so much joy to the mat, and part of what makes Flurries so special is how much joy our coaches and volunteers get from being there right alongside them.

They show up because they love these athletes.
They celebrate every little win.
They build relationships.
They laugh, encourage, adapt, cheer and somehow leave practice with hearts even fuller than when they walked in.

So who was happier to be back?

We’re calling this one a tie. ❄️💜

❄️ FIRST PRACTICE: CHECK. SEASON 3: OFFICIALLY UNDERWAY. 📣💜

Yesterday wasn’t about having everything perfect.

It was about settling in, finding our rhythm and starting to build something together.

Finding comfort on the mat. Getting to know new coaches and teammates. Trying something new — and sometimes deciding, “maybe I’ll just watch this one first.” 💜

And THAT is one of my favorite parts of the beginning of a season.

Because yesterday was only the starting point.

Over the next few weeks, routines will start coming together, confidence will grow, friendships will form, and things that felt brand new yesterday will slowly start to feel familiar.

Yesterday looked a little different for every athlete — and that’s exactly how it should be. Some moments brought big excitement, others took a little more time, and throughout it all, our athletes were given the space to participate, learn and experience practice in the way that felt right for them.

There is no one right way to be part of a Flurries practice. At Flurries, there will always be a spot on the mat for you. ❄️💜

What filled our hearts most yesterday wasn’t any one skill or part of practice — it was simply seeing these teams together for the first time and knowing how much growth, friendship and joy is still ahead of them.

Season 3 has officially begun… and we cannot wait to see what these teams become. 💜📣❄️

GROWING OUR COMMUNITY. 💜

One of the coolest parts of every new season is welcoming new athletes and families into Flurries and watching our circle get just a little bit bigger.

So it feels pretty perfect that tonight’s Faces of Flurries introduces one of our newest athletes…

💜 MEET ADIANIS! 💜

Adianis is 12 years old and is joining Flurry Force for her very first season with us! ❄️

Her favorite color is blue, she loves to draw, and she absolutely LOVES beluga whales. 🐋💙

Adianis has the sweetest heart and is such a beautiful reminder that connection, friendship and love don’t always need words.

Her family is looking forward to watching her enjoy every moment, try new experiences, make new friends and, most importantly, feel like she belongs.

And THAT is exactly what this community is all about. 💜

New athletes. New families. New friendships. More people to cheer for, celebrate and welcome into this crazy little Flurries family of ours. ❄️

And for the last one, I had to save one of the biggest reasons I love cheer so much…

BELONGING. 💜

There is something really special about watching a group of athletes come together and realize that this is their team too.

Different personalities. Different strengths. Different needs. Different ways of communicating.

And somehow, once they are on that mat, they are just teammates.

They learn each other. They cheer for each other. They celebrate each other’s wins. They figure out how to work together, trust each other, and make room for everyone.

And our families become part of that too — cheering for every athlete, celebrating every accomplishment, and helping create the kind of environment where everyone feels supported.

That is what Unified cheer means to me.

Yes, we learn routines. We stunt. We jump. We perform.

But the biggest thing we are building is a place where every athlete knows they have a spot, they have a team, and they belong. 💜❄️

And that feeling?

That will always be one of my absolute favorite things about cheer.

Today’s favorite thing about unified cheerleading is really all of it…

THE MOMENTS. 💜

The big hugs. The happy tears. The nonstop laughter. The megaphone moments 😂. The competitions, the practices, the performances.

And then there are all of those tiny little moments in between that people outside of the program never get to see.

It’s the athlete who finally tries something they’ve been nervous about.

The look on someone’s face when they realize they just did something they didn’t think they could do.

The teammates cheering for each other, the spontaneous dancing, the silliness between turns, and the moments that have absolutely nothing to do with hitting a routine but somehow become the memories you never forget.

Of course I love the big days.

But I think some of the very best parts of cheer happen in between them.

Those little moments are what make every practice, every competition and every season so special. 💜❄️

And I already know Season 3 is going to give us SO many more of them.
