Metropolitan welcomed breast cancer survivors and community members for a meaningful afternoon of conversation, connection, and shared experiences. Patients and survivors came together to share their journeys, reflect on the challenges they’ve faced, and celebrate the strength and resilience that carried them through.

Every story was a reminder that behind every diagnosis is a person with a unique journey, and that sharing our experiences can bring comfort, encouragement, and hope to others facing similar challenges.

Metropolitan was proud to support New York State Senator Jose M. Serrano's Job Fair, welcoming community members - who came ready with résumés in hand - eager to explore new career opportunities! With upward of 40 employers, the partnership is one of the largest hosted by the Senator to-date.

Metropolitan ended its Hispanic Heritage Month celebration with Café con Leche, an intimate gathering honoring culture, personal stories, and the connections that bring us together. Hosted by our CEO Julian John, the event featured a conversation with Sam Rivera, Executive Director of OnPoint NYC. The conversation was a profound look at how upbringing, and life experiences shape who we are.

Over coffee and conversation, staff and community leaders shared stories, learned from one another, and celebrated the richness of our diverse community.
