Very often I have seen people coming in for a session saying they are desperate and have tried everything to relieve said pain or issue. Then, they have one or two sessions and they experienced relief, but it wasn't totally gone or maybe some of it came back. So this must mean the energy healing didn't work, right?
First, why would you wait until you're in a position where you feel desperate for relief from "_____?" Existing in that energetic state of being desperate to try anything, even if I don't believe in it, actually piles more mental/emotional elements on top of the issue you want relief from.
This is soooooo important to understand. Some people come in and experience the relief and results they were hoping for, and even more. Some people don't. Does that mean that energy healing isn't working? No. It simply means everyone carries different energetics than the next person. I can tell you their body still receives and uses the energy, but in ways that they didn’t know their body was asking for. So many people are disconnected from listening to their body. There is a lot to unpack in those statements, but for now I'm going to move on.
As adults we have all of our life up to the point where we decide we will give energy healing a "try." So, we have years and years, layers and layers of different energetic experiences that we carry in our bodies without realizing it.
Sometimes, often times, deep healing happens in layers. Can someone experience relief after one session? Absolutely, yes. And some people are so "married" to the issue that they have made it part of their identity.
Personally, my healing journey has been done in layers, lots of them. I've been willing to look at those things I've tried so hard to avoid even existed. I've been willing to ask myself really hard questions, that ultimately helped me reveal truths that catapulted me even farther through my own healing. I still do this. It's become one of my own personal greatest tools in my toolbelt.
So, if you're wondering does "this energy stuff" really work? Hell yes is does! And! It works different for everyone in your own time.
I spent 4 sessions working with a client to specifically identity 50 trapped emotions that contributed to the cancer she was experiencing. She felt lighter after every session, and even felt some of these trapped emotional energies leaving her body. I believ that energy medicine and modern medicine can work in tandem with each to achieve the great outcome and healing for people.
It fills my heart and feeds my soul to show up for people and help them however they will allow me.
