Did you know???🎃

October is Cardiac Arrest Awareness Month... so, let's ask the hard questions... is your workplace ready to handle a cardiac emergency?

About 10,000 cardiac arrests happen in U.S. workplaces each year, yet many employees don't know where their AED is located or how to help until EMS arrives... when minutes matter, that's a big problem.

Survival decreases 10% every minute without intervention --> immediate CPR can dramatically improve outcomes.❤️

This October, make preparedness part of your company culture:
✅ Review your emergency response plan
✅ Schedule CPR training
✅ Practice hands-only compressions

📞 Contact us to arrange a FREE compression practice session for your team this month!

If you're CPR certified, you already understand the importance... you're ready to act in an emergency... but, what if you're not there? Or, what if you're the one that needs help?

The office, your church, the kids sports practice, at home, the park... Our goal at New View Training is to ALWAYS have someone nearby when an emergency happens that is prepared to act. CPR and First Aid Training makes the difference when minutes matter.

The more people trained in the spaces where your friends, family, and loved ones live and work - the safer they are.

Now is the time to expand that circle. Have the conversation --> Schedule the training. ❤️

What your team needs: Understanding of the Fatal Four + Emergency Response Training + Practice!

Prevention saves lives. But on a jobsite, the unexpected happens in seconds. We've trained construction crews across Omaha and Lincoln who've faced the Fatal Four- and the ones who knew CPR and First Aid, and had practiced the skills with their team made the difference between a close call and a tragedy.

!

A fire extinguisher is one of those safety tools we hope we never have to use. Having one readily available can make a big difference when a small, contained fire starts.

Keeping the right type of extinguisher in an accessible location can give you the ability to respond quickly, help prevent a small fire from spreading, and add another layer of protection for your home and family

But simply owning one isn't enough! Know where it is, make sure everyone in your household knows where it is, check it regularly, and learn how to use it before an emergency happens.

And remember! Your safety always comes first. If a fire is spreading or isn't safe to fight, get everyone out and call 911.

Meet our team!

This Monday, we say “Hello!” to Heather. Heather came on with us in the process of opening our brand new Lincoln location! (P.S. sign up for Lincoln classes on our website today!)

Here’s a little about Heather 😊

“Hi there!

I’ve been a nurse for over 10 years, with experience in cardiac nursing, acute and chronic hemodialysis, and functional wellness and hydration. I’ve seen a little bit of everything: from high-pressure emergencies to the small, everyday moments that make a big difference!

What I love most about teaching is turning intimidating skills into something approachable, practical, and empowering. I enjoy creating a comfortable, hands-on, realistic learning environment where questions are encouraged and mistakes are treated as part of the learning process. My favorite moment is when someone goes from feeling nervous to thinking, “Wait, I actually know what to do in an emergency!”

A few fun facts about me: On Sundays, I root for the 49ers, i love plants, and I’m always up for anything crafty. When I’m not teaching or nursing, there’s a good chance you’ll find me working on some random craft project that I absolutely did not need to start, but am having way too much fun finishing. 😂”
