Staff Spotlight: Holly! Holly also joined the Help-U-Bridge team Fall of 2025. Holly obtained a Bachelors degree in Recreational Therapy and a Masters degree in Special Education. Holly has prior experience with a variety of individuals and settings, including traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury, mental health, individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and physical limitations within inpatient and home based settings. Holly also provides individualized in-home and community supports, individual Recreational Therapy services and facilitates Building Bridges for Life Bowling Leagues. Holly has been a wonderful addition to our team. Thank you Holly!

Staff Spotlight: Paige! Paige joined the Help-U-Bridge team Fall of 2025. Paige has been a great addition to our team! She obtained a Bachelors degree in Health Promotion & Fitness Management as well as a Masters in Recreational Therapy. She has prior experience with adults with developmental disabilities within the community, older adults, parks & recreation, as well as disability advocacy on the county level. Paige provides individualized in-home and community supports, individual Recreational Therapy services and facilitates Building Bridges for Life Bowling Leagues. Thank you Paige!

Our July Art & Adaptive Movement On The Farm was a great time had by all. The animals got lots of brushes and treats and the people had fun too! We helped out around the barn, spoiled the animals, moved our bodies, and got creative with some open art. The beautiful weather topped the day off! Thank you to our hosts Cook Foundation LLC for guiding our animal encounters and providing space for Help-U-Bridge Building Bridges for Life program. We're excited about our next adventure there in August - Music & Movement On The Farm with Help-U-Bridge's Music Therapist and more on the way. These are all small group experiences guided for each participant with a personalized and adaptive opportunity. These experiences have something for everyone, whether it's moving around and helping or enjoying a farm and nature environment. August is off to a great start and Building Bridges for Life has some great events coming up! Registration is open for the * GAME CAFE OUTING 8/12 that includes lunch and games as well as the *TWEEN/TEEN MINI GOLF EVENT on 8/13, both facilitated by Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialists. Another fun adventure in the books for Building Bridges for Life participants! We had a beautiful day at Maple Acres Farm taking a hayride through the farm, checking out the animals, and cutting beautiful flowers. Our next hayride event will be in the fall, we hope you can join! In the meantime we have some really fun opportunities this month at a Board Game Cafe, a Tweens/Teens Mini Golf & Music & Movement on the farm.

Building Bridges for Life is open to any individual with a disability where we build social connections through recreation all while exploring our communities.
