🇺🇸 This Labor Day Weekend, We Celebrate Our Staff
Labor Day is a time to recognize the dedication, compassion, and hard work of the people who make a difference every day.
This weekend, we asked members of our dēhp Therapeutic team to reflect on what working at dēhp means to them. Their words speak to the heart of who we are, the people we serve, and the community we continue to build together.
One of our team members shared:
“Working at dēhp has shown me how much of a difference a dedicated team can make. I’m grateful to work alongside people who genuinely care about helping others move forward and build better lives. The work isn’t always easy, but seeing the progress our clients make reminds me why what we do matters.”
Another team member shared:
“I’m especially grateful to be part of dēhp, a company that truly understands that caring for others starts with caring for ourselves. dēhp prioritizes self-care, work-life balance, and mental health, not only for the members we have the privilege of serving, but for the employees who show up every day to support them. In behavioral health, it can be easy to pour everything we have into caring for others. Having an organization that recognizes the importance of taking care of its own people, encouraging balance, and supporting our mental well-being makes such a difference. I’m grateful to work somewhere that understands that healthy employees create healthier communities and better care.”
A third member of our team reflected on their journey:
“Working at dēhp has truly changed my life. I remember sitting at my desk in the clinic after being told I would no longer be employed. An hour later, the phone rang. One day after Christmas, I met with Admin and HR for an interview. I will always remember that day and all the days that have followed. The team, the culture, and the communities we serve are all blessings. I am forever grateful for the opportunity to learn and grow alongside all of you as we continue to support change in the community around us.”
Another team member shared:
“I work at dēhp because the people who need the most help deserve the best care, and showing up for them consistently is the most meaningful thing I’ve done professionally.”
One of our longtime team members shared:
“I am grateful to be working at dēhp for many years. We have come a long way since I started as an employee. We have a great team, and I have seen how much our staff has gone above and beyond for all of our clients. I am glad to be a part of this team and to be making a difference in the community.”
Another member of our team shared:
“I love working at dēhp because of the transformations I get to witness every day in our clients. There’s something incredibly meaningful about seeing that light come on when someone realizes their life can be different from their past. Watching hope return, lives being restored, and people begin to see new possibilities for themselves is what makes this work so meaningful to me.”
And another member of our team shared:
“I can’t help but feel even more grateful for the opportunity to do what I love. Working with the amazing leadership of dēhp has allowed me to not just grow within a company, but to allow my dreams to become my reality. I really don’t feel like it’s work. dēhp has made the saying, ‘Do what you love, and you’ll never work another day in your life,’ a reality for me. I love the mission, the clients, and our leadership.”
These words are a reminder that dēhp Therapeutic is more than the services we provide—it is the people behind those services. It is a team that believes in compassion, hope, growth, second chances, and the possibility of change.
This Labor Day weekend, we celebrate every person behind dēhp Therapeutic and the unique role each person plays in our mission.
