Despite the unseasonably cold weather in May, recent bursts of heat and humidity promise that summer is, in fact, coming. That means tons of summer festivals.

Pittsburgh’s summer festival season stretches from neighborhood music crawls to massive Downtown arts celebrations, with plenty of food, jazz and cultural festivals mixed in.

After the success of the NFL Draft in presenting the city to the world, these are events for Pittsburghers. Look forward to packed riverfronts, busy food vendors, live music echoing through city streets and plenty of reasons to spend weekends exploring neighborhoods you may not visit the rest of the year.
