guess what? it doesn’t matter.

I cringe every time I see a wellness influence do a “what I eat in a day” post. people will try to copy it. and some of them might feel great! and some of them feel absolutely terrible. and then they blame themselves for “doing it wrong.”

you’re not doing it wrong, you’re not weak. you don’t lack willpower. you just have a different body. your nutritional needs are shaped by your gut microbiome (which is as unique as your fingerprint), your genetics, your blood sugar patterns, how much and how you move your body, your age, your hormones, your stress levels, and even the foods that genuinely bring you joy. two people can eat the exact same “clean” meal and have completely different experiences - one thrives, one crashes.

what I do believe in: learning to read your own body. paying attention to your energy after meals. noticing what makes you feel grounded versus inflamed. working with a practitioner who looks at your actual data (your labs, your gut, your glucose patterns) rather than handing you a generic plan.

nourishment isn’t a trend. it isn’t a template. it’s a relationship with your body. and like any good relationship, it requires listening.

guess what? it doesn’t matter.

i cringe every time I see a wellness influence do a “what I eat in a day” post. people immediately try to copy it. and some of them might feel great! and some of them feel absolutely terrible. and they blame themselves for doing it wrong.
