PCOS is officially being renamed to PMOS — Polyendocrine Metabolic Ovarian Syndrome.

The new name better reflects the reality of this complex hormonal and metabolic condition, instead of reducing it to “ovarian cysts.”

As someone who personally struggles with this condition, this change honestly gives me hope — for better awareness, more research, earlier diagnoses, and healthcare that actually reflects what people are experiencing.

This feels like a step forward for women’s health and hormonal health as a whole. 💛
