Well… this is awkward. 😂

We were SO READY for our shiny new reformers today. Classes canceled. Studio cleared. Excitement level: unreasonable.

And then the freight truck arrived and we learned one tiny detail:

Apparently you need a forklift to get giant crates of Pilates reformers off a truck.

We have resistance springs.
We have strong cores.
We have instructors who can hold a plank for an alarming amount of time.

We do not have a forklift. 😂

So, despite our best efforts, today’s studio upgrade has been temporarily postponed while the grown-ups figure out the freight logistics.

To everyone whose class was moved or canceled today: THANK YOU for rolling with us. We’re so sorry for the inconvenience, and we promise these beautiful new reformers are coming… just as soon as someone brings the appropriate heavy machinery. 🤦‍♀️

Tomorrow is a big day at the studio 👀

We’re making some exciting upgrades to The Alignment Collective with a little help from Core Collab and their gorgeous new equipment. ✨

A few important schedule changes for Wednesday, 9/2:

⏰ Morning classes are 30 minutes earlier
9:30 → 9:00 AM
10:30 → 10:00 AM
11:30 → 11:00 AM

🚫 Afternoon + evening classes are canceled so we have plenty of time for delivery, setup, and getting everything ready for you.

Please double-check your schedule in the app before heading in. Regular class times resume Thursday!

We already love this studio. Tomorrow, we’re adding a little more to love.

New to Pilates? Start here. 💚

Our Pilates Foundations Workshop is a slower-paced, supportive introduction to the Pilates method, created for anyone who wants to feel more confident before jumping into drop-in classes.

You’ll learn the positions, vocabulary, cues, and basic concepts behind Pilates, while getting more individual support than you would in a typical group reformer class.

This workshop is perfect for beginners, and also open to anyone who wants to deepen their practice and better understand how mat work and Pilates equipment support one another.

The first workshop is Sunday, 9/13 at 10am.

Build a sustainable Pilates practice from the ground up.

Book your spot on MINDBODY.

Alignment Collective Neighborhood Guide · Ep. 01

First stop: the South Waterfront Farmers Market.

One of our favorite ways to make a class feel like a whole morning? Come move with us at Alignment Collective, then wander over to the market for fresh flowers, local food, coffee, produce, and a little neighborhood browsing.

Pilates or yoga first.
Farmers market after.
The best kind of South Waterfront day!

Save this for your next post-class outing.

Dana’s approach to therapy is warm, relational, intuitive, and depth-oriented. Her work is rooted in the belief that healing is a process of coming back into alignment with ourselves — reconnecting with our bodies, our stories, our values, and the parts of ourselves we may have disconnected from in order to survive.

Dana specializes in Brainspotting, trauma, grief, somatic healing, and clinical supervision. She supports clients navigating trauma, chronic illness, medical trauma, cancer survivorship, neurological conditions, disability, identity shifts, grief, and major life transitions.

She brings a deeply compassionate, anti-ableist lens to her work, honoring people beyond diagnoses, limitations, productivity, or assumptions placed on them.

Dana is also an Approved Clinical Supervisor and therapist for therapists, supporting our associates as they connect with their own intuition, authenticity, and wisdom.

Dana is currently accepting new clients at Alignment Collective. To request an appointment, visit the link in our bio and complete our secure appointment request form.
