Hi guys, I’m posting this for the new followers and for the people who are asking what happened. On December 13, 2023 I got into a car with a drunk driver as a passenger. We hit ice going 70 miles an hour, flipped into oncoming traffic at 100 mile an hour impact, and my car exploded. Because the driver was knocked out from impact, they were unable to tell anyone that there was someone else in the car (me). They heard what they thought was a baby screaming. I was trapped in my car for seven minutes (I know this detail due to crash detection call) burning alive, trapped by my foot upside down. I woke up 3 months later at Uc Davis Firefighters Burn Center. My head was split in half with my eyeball hanging out, the impact caused me to lose eight different muscles due to the muscles being shredded like hamburger meat. I am 85% covered in burns/skin grafts. My left arm was burned so badly they had to amputate it. The surgeon said that they were able to put their arm through my entire sternum because of how much damage I had. I had to learn how to balance, walk, talk, swallow, and most importantly dance again. The doctors told my parents that I would probably be in the hospital for a year and possibly rarely leave the house due to my circumstance. Probably live with them for the rest of my life. I ended up getting out on April 1st. Fighting for healthcare that would even help me out. Unfortunately there is very minimal burn specialists in my area, let alone the world, because you typically don’t survive. I have seen numerous doctors. I have had 58 surgeries and counting. But most importantly, I can dance again. I can advocate for people in my situation who are told that they will never do something again. Because sometimes those doctors are wrong. They base everything off of the worst. Instead of giving you hope for the best. So here I am once again asking to help me get a prosthetic. I feel a prosthetic will help me integrate myself back into life a lot more smoothly and feel “normal” again.
There is so much more to the story. But this is a short sweet version of it. Thank you, everyone for being by my side through this journey. And thank you, everyone who has donated, fed my family, and have given us hugs in this insane time of our lives.
It’s only up from here!

After my parents being told, I might not ever walk again, or do my favorite things again, here I am dancing and picking up new hobbies. Don’t ever let anyone tell you what you can and can’t do. You got this. You just have to keep pushing. Especially through the hard days.🦾🫶🏻🪩

Starting to get more comfortable flowing in public. Had the best time at Bartledoo with my people😍 this was pajama day at Jimmy Town Ranch. The link below is a GoFundMe fundraiser for a prosthetic arm. I have found a company that will match me if I get to 25K. For an arm that’s about 50 K! I meet with a prothesis specialist Aug 6th to get the ball rolling with this company that’s working with me🦾🪩❤️‍🔥🌀

Today was my 4th appointment doing CO2 fractional laser therapy. Dr. Ava and everyone at Rivé plastic surgery has been more than amazing during this journey. This type of laser therapy is amazing for reconstructive work and movement for skin grafts, burns, and thick scarring/banding. Today we worked on my torso/abdominal and it was SPICY. Only in a couple spots though, since most of my nerves are fried🫠🤣 thank you to everyone who has supported me through this Burn journey🌀 next step is continuing to fundraiser for a prosthetic. I’ve been denied six times by insurance, but I’m gonna keep trying. I also have surgery number 59 in September to help close up the large valley seam in my abdominal🦾🪩❤️‍🔥

Hi guys! Here’s an update on the day after my second fractional CO2 laser therapy treatment. The goal of laser therapy is to loosen tight scar banding, reproduce natural collagen, and help with discoloration from burns and skin grafts. All the tiny red squares that you see on my skin are from the shape of the tool. A fractional laser shoots out about 1000 tiny lasers at a time. Thank goodness most of my nerves are fried, because it’s already painful as is. I’m very grateful for Dr. Ava at Rivé plastic surgery & med spa. Dr. Ava is the only plastic surgeon in Northern Nevada with this laser. The universe is on my side with that. Even my surgeons at UC Davis are just now getting their hands on this machine. However, my insurance did deny me of this treatment. I am very grateful that Dr. Ava thought of me to be a testimonial client. The universe works in beautiful ways. I want to start using this page as a progress page for my life altering accident that happened December 13, 2023. Not only for me personally, but for everyone interested in my journey. I also want to use this page as a way to advocate for living life and for anyone who can relate in any tiny form. Living as an amputee and burn survivor has shifted my life for the best. No matter how life goes you’ve gotta get back up and dance. Life didn’t give me lemons, but it set up a lemonade stand for me. Let’s boogie. 777

UPDATE: SURGERY 54!❤️‍🔥

Next month I’m getting another scalp surgery to remove a big skin graft on the top of my scalp. It’s crazy to think back about how much I hide behind wigs, scarves, and hats. No matter how hot I am, I refuse to take them off to regulate. It’s more comfortable for me to be uncomfortable and over heated than self-conscious. It’s a real mental battle I struggle with everyday.

Just wanted to share an exciting next step and a not so fun part of my journey. All parts of the ebb and flow of life. I’m not sure if this surgery will be the last to “close” the bald spot, but at least I love to accessorize✨

Also, another bump in the road, I might be dropped by Medicaid very soon, so things are going to start being approved, BUT expensive.

Thank goodness I’m finally at place in my journey to work part time. Feeling very grateful the stars aligned and an old boss/friend recently hired me.

Thank you all for the support and donations and much needed words. There’s no way i could ever describe how much I am grateful for everything done to support my family and I.

Next chapter is for me to start advocating and helping others in a difficult time💕
