Apparently my childbirth classes have officially taken over my clients’ dreams. I received the cutest text this morning: 🤣

“Hi!! I had a dream last night that I came by your house to pick up any material I missed in class on Tuesday. While I was there, you surprised me with a ‘matching graduation dress’ that all the moms and I wear on the last day of class to celebrate. It was pink zebra print with rhinestones! 😂 I think I laughed out loud, which woke me up from sleep. Hilarious!”

I mean… 😂😂😂 The fact that her dream included a pink zebra-print, rhinestone matching graduation dress for all the moms is seriously the best!

🏁 I HAVE A BIG ASK… 🏁

For the past 15 years, I’ve had the incredible privilege of helping bring nearly 650 babies into the world, serving as a doula for so many amazing families, teaching hundreds of families through my childbirth classes, and encapsulating hundreds of placentas for new moms.

Today, I am asking this incredible community to rally around my boys.

Jordan and Peyton have worked incredibly hard to earn their spot at the 2026 Loretta Lynn Amateur Motocross Championship this August in Tennessee…the biggest amateur motocross race in the country!

Our goal is to reach 100 people who would be willing to support them with a $50 donation to help get them to Loretta’s. Every contribution brings them one step closer to this incredible opportunity!

Whether I was your doula, you attended one of my birth classes, I encapsulated your placenta, or you’ve simply followed our family’s journey over the years, we’d be so grateful for your support.

Wrapped up another fantastic childbirth class last night! 💛

This class was full of firsts. In nearly 15 years of teaching, I’ve never had a mother and daughter both pregnant and taking my class together until now!

Another fun fact: half of these families are planning home births, with three different midwives.

A huge thank you to these wonderful families for allowing me to be part of your journey. It’s always an honor to help parents prepare for one of the biggest days of their lives.

Wishing each of you confidence, peace, and beautiful birth experiences in the weeks & months ahead. 💕👶💙

I said farewell to this wonderful class last night. 💛

A couple days late, but I wanted to congratulate all 5 of my May families and their beautiful new babies! 💙

May was apparently the month of baby boys, with every family welcoming a son into the world.

Peyton Maas punched his ticket to Loretta Lynn’s Amateur Motocross Championship!!!

He’s been riding a bike without training wheels since he was 2.5 and yesterday, he did the unthinkable & qualified for

If you know motocross, you know how big this is. This is the dream. The biggest amateur race in the country. To finish in the top 4 against insanely talented kids from all over the nation is something special.

The dedication, grit, sacrifices, early mornings, long drives, crashes, and determination have all led to this moment.

And, the story isn’t over yet… our oldest Jordan is still chasing his qualifying spot too. The competition in his class is tough, but we’re hopeful in the next few weeks he’ll qualify. Stay strong, Jordy! You’ve got this!! 🙏💪

Last night was one for the books! ✨

For the first time ever in my 15 years as a doula, I had a family choose a cord burning ceremony instead of the traditional cord cutting. It was such a beautiful, intentional, and sacred experience to witness.

If you’ve never heard of a cord burning ceremony, it symbolizes a gentle transition of baby from womb to earthside life. Instead of cutting the cord with scissors, the cord is slowly separated using a flame often while parents share blessings, affirmations, or words of welcome for their baby. The process encourages slowing down, being present, and honoring the connection between mother, baby, and partner in a deeply meaningful way.

And an even bigger congratulations to this beautiful family on their incredible home birth after cesarean. 🤍 Watching a mother reclaim her birth experience and choose to do things her own way after feeling like that choice was taken from her during her previous cesarean was unbelievably powerful and emotional to witness.
