🐝🌸 Buzzing through our OT Garden! 🌸🐝

Our therapists love turning exercise into play! In this fun wall activity, children move their bee from flower to flower, completing wall push-ups before collecting each bee along the way.

While it looks like a simple game, kids are working on:
🌼 Upper body strength
🌼 Core stability
🌼 Motor planning
🌼 Coordination
🌼 Body awareness
🌼 Attention and following directions

🎉 A Bittersweet Congratulations 🎉

Today, we’re celebrating two incredible members of the KidShine family as they begin an exciting new chapter! 💙

Both are heading to Tufts University to pursue their Doctorates in Occupational Therapy—a huge accomplishment and a testament to their dedication, passion, and commitment to helping children thrive.

While we’re so proud of everything they have achieved and can’t wait to see all the amazing things they’ll accomplish, it’s definitely bittersweet. Their time at KidShine will be much more limited as they focus on their studies, and they will be greatly missed by our team, our families, and the kiddos who have loved working with them.

Thank you both for the energy, compassion, creativity, and care you’ve brought to KidShine. We are incredibly lucky to have been part of your journey and can’t wait to cheer you on as you take this next step toward becoming Doctors of Occupational Therapy! 🎓✨

Who says popsicles have to stay frozen? 🍦☀️

This kiddo created a giant chalk popsicle and then used a spray bottle to melt it away! What looked like a fun summer game was actually packed with opportunities to build hand strength, coordination, creativity, and problem-solving skills.

Now that’s what we call sweet therapy! 💛
